@@iu.lia.na.it was, just less frustrating. I mean who wants to play a game that’s just too hard for them? It is what it is. I actually like she tried it on easy when normal was too much! She shouldn’t have to keep doing it on a certain difficulty just to make others happy, we can all go buy the game and play it if we REALLY wanted to. Yeah, if it were ME I would have kept it on normal and would have switched between “searching” for money and stopping and regaining energy x2 then going back to “searching” for money etc etc and tweak my strategy from there. But the video was definitely still enjoyable.

You should play Sorry We're Closed next! It's an old school style survival horror, and it's got killer art. The character portraits are insanely cool! The game looks rad as hell in general though.

Been playing it recently and for sure I'd recommend!!! Four endings I believe, some bosses, awesome art, some very funny, hot and rad characters/character quirks and in general it's very fun. I say this as someone who never got to play games with this style because I was too young/did not exist when this style was kinda the norm. Despite the old-schoolness that is likely disliked by some, it's really nice and the story and premise are very intriguing. I admit I do play on like the easiest settings because I think otherwise I'd just be stuck in the death screen. Not because the game's too hard or anything, I'm just bad at combat in most games for a long while because I have so little experience with gaming in general. I only got a Steam Deck a year ago and I have played plenty (250 hours in RDR22 alone) but I find myself still getting used to the amount of controls. Before the Deck I only got to play mostly poopy mobile games becuase the good ones and bigger ones would crash with horrid lag or overheat my phone/tablet in like 10 mins max. Anything above 100 MB was pretty much quaranteed to crash haha. It's been awesome getting to play on something that can actually handle it and could probably take more than how I use it.

Gab immediately hard-nopeing out of no checkpoints, I felt that. 😂 Also, writing "DON'T OPEN DEATH" on a briefcase gotta be the fastest way to make sure some innocent bystander opens it... Ah, horror tropes. I find it really funny how scary "being stalked by a creature" type horror can be to us humans given that we are ourselves persistence predators. Like that comparatively slow but unrelenting hunter stalking you (I mean not slow in this game, but think of like zombies)? That was us cave-humans from the POV of their prey. Always makes me feel badass to think about, even if my modern butt would probably starve before I'd catch so much as a small rodent. 😜

I do think dying over and over somewhat affected the “scares” of a game. After a while, the game became less scary and more annoying. I guess this is also the same problem that Insym had while playing “hard” horror games. The concept of being chased in a crowded space while no one could help you or even see the thing that pursues you, is terrifying and it’s such a cool concept. But once I know what happens after the thing gets me, it becomes “oh so i just died”, which is such a shame. Glad that Gab switched to Easy so the experience is more seamless, I think.

it is so incredibly funny how she attributes just the music to the thing following her, and not the click clacking of its footsteps getting closer and closer behind her LMAO. probably for the best tho bc it stressed me out further when i realised the footsteps was its. hated hearing how loud they got fdsjnf i was wondering if you could "charge" the inhaler every so often before using it.... like stop for a sec, shake it a little, and keep going. then using it when your stamina is low enough to be worth using. after that it's just repeating the process. i think that's how you could pass normal difficulty.

I suggest at the beginning of the chase use the inhaler a few times to get your lung air up then as you go on use it every once or so because it does help with your stamina. Also you will be able to find them around once you're out.

Reminds me of your first playthrough of Fatal Frame 5, when Hasshaku-sama kept killing you (just twice, if I remember correctly) and the game put you on Easy Modo by itself. Then you got rightfully pissed, and had to restart the level to stay on Normal Mode. Just thought it was a nice contrast from then to now where you willingly lowered the difficulty.
