Update: My hair lasted! Today is wash day, so that makes it about 4 days. This is super rare for me. I did gather a little bit of frizz, but in general my hair is super frizzy. I just touched up on my hair in the mornings. Overall my curls lasted 🎉!

I don’t think it’s supposed to be like the cause some bottles are like a liquid consistency which is WAY easier to applied to your head and then others are harder texture

Zoya clb try to warm it up with your fingers take a small amount and rub your hands together until it’s thinner/not as clumpy!

They actually recently changed the formula & I happened to get the new one. A lot of people are complaining about it, so they may have changed it back, but I’m not sure. Mine still clumps, but I just warm it up by rubbing together in my hands!

“Gelatinous” took me out girl 🤣🤣🤣 but honestly yeah, I like that the soufflé is jiggly but not super fluid like that other one, I have two different curl patterns too, some wavy hair and some of my hair is coiled, so I got this gel in hopes of longer lasting curl definition as well as hold and it works!!! 🎉

I’ve had the gel product and it was given to me as a gift but when I received it it was very smooth and not at all like gelatin and it was very easy to use. Then it broke and had to buy a new one which was like gelatin 😭 I’m still trying to figure out how to make it smooth again

They have actually changed the formula, sadly 😭 but a few people have been saying to put it in the microwave for a few seconds & it makes the product more easy to use!

Ur hair looks amazing 💗 I just bought this gel. Imagine my surprise when I open it to use it for the first time and I'm met with a Jello *BLOCK* 😭 I wasn't sure if something was wrong with the product. I just used my eco styler, then hopped on here to see if anyone got the block jelly and how they used it. I've seen people get great results with this gel, so I'm gonna try again. 😬🙏

I got it a few days ago and it was like that too!! I couldn’t use it because it would stay solid. Tip, mix it and put the container in hot water. I emailed them and they recommended that but it’s still kind of hard. They gave me a 12 dollar refund so I recommend you email Shea moisture.

Probably is because you have low porosity type of hair, and the hibiscus product has a lot of protein :)

I use that one it is very moisturizing I love it for days where I want my hair soft and stuff. It is verryyy moisturizing though so you can only use it on certain wash days, but the leave in conditioner in the blue bottle for every day definition before the gel soufflé is nice

Maybe try using thicker products & a stronger gel? Also deep condition & do a protein treatment each week, really helps maintain curls & lower frizz!

Oh also don’t use deva curl, it’s been proven to damage natural curls. Just don’t use it just in case. Best of luck to you guyssss

I hate this product! 😭 it makes my hair hard and the gel is the worst! 😞 I need a new good one and I'm 3a-3c the top curls are bigger and the bottom curls are so coily lol
