@@ForTheLoveOfPens Im even considering one of the Wingsungs, 601A maybe? What do you think

@@santauxia I’m a fan of the 601, it’s one of my favorite pens. Extremely reliable but may need some nib tuning out of the box. I’ve made a couple videos of that model.

It is a gorgeous pen. Love the celluloid body. I have been a fan of the Triumph nib and would love to fine this pen. I am sorry to see the tip crumbled but you did a nice restoration, creating a stub. Very well done.

How did you know?? I bought one of these on Friday (or similar) at an auction on Friday. Mine has a broader cap band though. Apparently that dates it to 1942.

That was the top of the line Triumph and I have one as well. Real beauties, these. The Triumph nib solved a problem that no longer besets us: carbon copies. These pens aren't well understood now-a-days. How many fountain pen bladders would it take to make one B-17 tire?

I hope you love it!

I’ve an Imperial and a Targa, but I rarely ink them in comparison with modern Sheaffers like 100 and Intensity (probably because of a little too much of vintage vibe due to gold filling on both cap and section) ! This Triumph looks more attractive and desirable to me.. Sheaffer’s current owners -William Penn, India - have their HQ close to where I live here in Bangalore. Maybe I’ll check with them if they have any Triumph revival plans 😉😉

That looks nice pen. How much to they cost on collectable/antique market?

There’s a range depending on version and condition. Generally (at least at the moment) I tend to see them for between $35-$100 USD
