Been to Shearwater many times... the pub is where you can meet all types. Interesting place.

Us too!! Hopefully by next Summer we will be able to travel to the area. Covid has shut down a lot of lodges temporarily and we have yet to see what will happen this season!

Hey Mike, since you traveled by your own boat from Port Hardy, to shearwater, how many hours of boating time did it take ? . I'm thinking of doing the same this year if I'm sure I have the range ?

We always make a stop in Rivers Inlet , but if memory serves me right I’d say 6 hours at the most.

@@BCOutdoorsSportFishingTV thanks Mike :). BTW: is it shearwater or rivers inlet that you've landed the bigger fish ?

@@Ronsgonefishing I’d have to say since I’ve visited the Shearwater area probably over 20 times in the past 12 years. I think that over all my larger fish have been caught there. But this year I’m going to finally hook into a tyee in Rivers Inlet this year. I’m due !
