That doesn't mean that I'm going to be wearing a crop top (which you look fabulous in!), but I don't think I should be forced into a house coat and orthopedic shoes. I'm petite, I workout, and when I wear jeans, I usually do a French tuck, because it defines my waistline. Someone told me that I was too old to be tucking in the front of my top. Ugh. I think having a matching bag, belt, and shoes can be lovely but I can see it not working in Shea’s style. A lot of the pieces she wears are very simple and don’t have a lot of detail so I can see that whole m matching set being very obvious and overpowering where if she had a more flouncy, detailed/girly style it would blend more. Shea likes to look sleek and modern and works it well, but I’m more of a vintage girly type of style and that’s where the matchy matchy fits better

Just because it's fashionable doesn't mean it looks good. Do you want people to see your shoes or your face first? Wearing shoes meant for sports with jeans or dresses throws the proportions off and causes the shoes to be prominent so that the eye goes there first. Not good.

I'm in my 40s - I still wear crop tops. What I will do is wear something loose on the bottom - an A-line maxi skirt, loose pants. I believe in the tight/loose dressing and everything can still be worn! Because I do, no one knows what age I am.

Dear Shea, the Tackiest thing ever is saying an LV LOOKS designer only when it is new and with clean vachette…Quite the opposite, actually! LV looks at its best and extremely elegant when the monogram is older looking and with darkened vachette. Otherwise it looks chavvy, fake and such a try hard, in my humble opinion. So do long, colorful claws for nails. In saying that, everyone should dress as they feel like to.

The LV Neverfull will "always" have a time and place in fashion society. I think it is an iconic bag ( that's being discontinued, btw) that's perfect for travel, a casual day out shopping, going to an afternoon lunch and movie, etc. Now, if you are getting dressed up in a cocktail dress or putting on something ultra dressy for a wedding, then pull down the Neverfull to wear with those examples... I'd not advise that.

Louis Vuitton Neverfulls are practical and smart for work, especially for those of us who have to commute on trains. I have the monogram one and it is the best thing I have ever bought. Had it since Aug 2016, worn everyday since and whilst the leather just about needs replacing it's still going strong.

I always love everything about your videos! But I will say that those universal pants are not perfect for dressing up or down. The drawstring will ALWAYS make them look like athleisure therefore making them look cheaper and too casual and what makes it worse is tucking a nice blouse into them. Any pants with drawstring tie in the front automatically bring an outfit down and always makes an outfit look worse if it isn’t exercise wear.

We have to stop basing fashion on age and more in a persons comfort level. I’m 48, almost 49 and I wear crop tops balanced with my high waisted jeans. I tend to carry my weight in my thigh area so I never wear shorts or short skirts. My waist and upper body are my most flattering parts on my body and I like to highlight my small waist and tiny arms. My legs will not see the light of day 😂🤷‍♀️

Shea, it doesn’t matter what your age only when you look the way you do. You look young. You sound young. Your shape is cute and young. You can pull it off. Sorry but I don’t want to see my grandma in that cropped top even if her ab is toned, with a turkey neck? No way. Elegance and chic mean you don’t need to try so hard. And sexy doesn’t mean you have to bare skins or try too hard. Having confidence is sexy. Dressing in junior clothing doesn’t make you look younger. Usually they have cheaper quality which can down grade your look. Choose carefully.

Black can hide them too, if they're thick enough, but *not* lighter solid colors. If you want or need to wear lighter leggings, I'd definitely go for a pattern. But tasteful. 😊

The Neverful looks like a diaper bag, too many of the higher end purses do. As for brights, it depends on your skin tone. But a lot of times it just makes an piece look cheap. I like the matching shoes and bag occasionally as long as they are a solid color. Personally I'm not a fan of the 80s acid washed, high waisted mom jeans

Although I’m in my 40’s I sometimes think is this to much, should I tone it down, so I do by maybe not wearing a super cropped top( which you look great in) but maybe my crop covers a little more but still looks stylish. Or wearing my skinny jeans or bodysuits. I feel like if you can wear it and have confidence then do it!!!❤❤

Sorry I disagree with #12, it is not a fashion mistake if you are a minimalist and your fashion style is subdued. wear what makes you happy as you say so vibrant colors and crazy prints are just headache-inducing hence doesn't make me happy, so it is not a mistake.

I think a horrible fashion mistake was the ripped jeans.. I never bought any jeans, skirts, jackets or shorts which was cut, ripped, holes and the strings hanging out. It looked cheap, grubby, and the homeless look. 😮I think it was crazy and hilarious people would try and dress these clothes with heels, boots and go out with the rips and strings hanging everywhere..😅😅😅 if you have old clothes and wear them to clean or just comfy at home that’s a different thing. however, people would wear them on a date, dinner or out anywhere and spend hundreds of dollars for ripped shredded clothes. 😅😅😅 that’s my opinion on that crazy fashion trend ..😂😂😂

I’m with you on the cut up jeans, etc!! I think they look ugly, tacky, not fashionable AT ALL! Who ever thought this up is out of their mind!! I can’t believe Shea wears them!!🤪. I’m 80 and still wear what I love and like some of the trends that come and go...BUT never ever those jeans. Even when I was 20 I wouldn’t have! Even the never fill bag! Stitch fix keeps sending me old lady clothes and they don’t listen to my feedback. I hate it so I changed my age to 10 years younger. We will see how the next fix goes!

Love your videos, but I got to say I kind of disagree with the last tip. I do agree that just because you hit your 40s or '50s doesn't mean you need to put on a house coat and velcro sneakers but unfortunately some people take it too far. When you're 55 years old and wearing a crop top and a mini skirt with knee-high boots nothing will make you look older than you actually are then trying to look like you're holding on to your youth through your fashion. So I would say do it within reason. 🤷‍♀️
