What a great thing to wake up to, these boys are fucking awesome, modern bands are pretenders they haven't got the swag or the style of the 90's brit pop bands.

Right I understand you now. Well that's British Television in the 90's for you ! Your right it is silly but most programmes just had us playing along to the record, maybe Rick would sing live if we were lucky, like on Top of the pops. TV just wasn't set up for live bands in the 90's apart from 'TFI' , which is why that was so successful in it's day , check out the other videos from TFi and you will see what I mean. Will be posting some live TV stuff soon
@SyeJenPlus44 жыл бұрын
Didn't bands have to play live on Jools Holland also?
@chrisjones19314 жыл бұрын
And 'The White Room' on channel 4 recorded at Westway Studios London, although whenever bands played on that show I never thought that the live sound was that good. Top of the Pops very rarely did live songs.
@drewmack17092 жыл бұрын
Ironic so many great bands in that time but the TV shows weren’t geared up to support live music. Great track which takes me right back to the summer of 96. Watching this definitely made me late for school but it was worth it!

Lol, I like how there's a small enthusiastic crowd gathered on the towpath, yet the The Big Breakfast position their stage as far away from them as posible and have the performance made directly to an eight foot high fence instead.

@shed7video He can't play the lead and rhythm guitar at the same time (like you hear on the single etc) so they've chosen to fill in the gaps kind of. I reckon they are playing but over a backing track. You'll notice he plays some bits rhythm and other bits lead. I'd rather listen to it like this.
