Good work! Could you guys post a video tutorial for people that have never shed hunted before? How to find a place to shed hunt, signs to look for, how to know elevation ranges you should look in, etc.

Haha I always laugh at Eric when he backpacks he should start a new channel called ultra heavy backpacking. Canned goods giant sleeping bag strapped to pack. Reminds me of backpacking with my dad as a kid he made me and my brother carry a full old school 2 burner Colman stove 😂

Eric, do the antlers get more dense as the elk gets older, and how old would the elk be from that matching brown set? I am familiar with whitetail but quite green on elk

Every elk and even area seems different. I think the density is more about the feed.

I Agree with the feed. Here in Southern Nevada we either have a super wet year, or drought. More drought than wet. There is a very noticeable weight difference between wet years and drought years.
