A few videos ago, I was going to comment about your snake gaiters/snake guards that you were wearing in your vlog. It is sooooo important for people to have 'em when walking country (shed hunting, hiking, etc).....especially this time of year. And I was sure glad to see you wearing them!! I am also glad you briefly touched on rattlers in this vlog. I hope anyone new to the channel or new to being out in the country will see your snake gaiters/snake guards and that will spur 'em to wear them, too. 'Cause there's nothing worse than being out of cell range, miles and miles from a vehicle, or out in terrain like this where rescue could take hours if you've been struck. No bueno for sure! Always, always be aware of those "danger noodles"!!!!

Talking about good frame elk with small bases,I found a stud 6 point on April 2nd here in Nm and it was probably 2 years old but with a super small base just like yours but with great genetics and is probably a monster now. I'm still trying to find the other side.
