SHED RACING - Kop Hill 2023: Meeting Millyard

Ivan loves to take part in the annual Kop Hill Climb
kophillclimb.org.uk/, which has raised over £1m for local charities and community initiatives.
It isn’t competitive but it is always loads of fun.
This year a highlight was meeting Allen Millyard.

Brilliant stuff Ivan and girls. I've met Allen a few times around the country, a true gentleman. He has always got time for a chat about his motorcycle creations. The government should have people like you and Allen in colleges to learn and pass on the wealth of knowledge. Keep up the good work Ivan and girls.

I remember that time back in the 80's when MI6 let it slip that there was this killer asteroid that was going to severely inconvenience the human race for a 100,000 years or so. Well the Queen (rip) invited the top thinkers to Buckingham palace and asked everyone if there was anything to be done about it...there was dead silence for a minute and then from opposite sides of the room Ivan and Allen said "hold my beer"...well we all know that put paid the asteroid and was the start of a beautiful friendship.

I wish Allen could sort out the smoking on my Enfield. I seem to be cursed with buying bad bikes. Now I have one I really love, it came with this inherited fault. What makes it worse, is I have to send it over 100 miles there and back to try and get it repaired as there's NO ONE in North Wales, who know what they are doing.

Oh Allen is very clever but his creations are also very silly - and I really don't like him calling his Honda 6 a replica; it is absolutely nothing like the real thing. Check out the late John Britten or Ian Drysdale's "backyard" creations of real motorcycles
