I've been watching a lot of him and Cam and have been going back and forth on who I like more, but I'm leaning Shedeur now. He's statistically one of the most accurate qb's in the last few drafts, actually makes throws with guys in his face and while getting hit, also seems to know where to go with the ball most of the time. I also like his throwing motion a lot more than Cam's, it's not low and he can throw with more touch which is needed to get the ball over defenders arms and heads. Now if Cam can clean up his deficiencies he'd be the better qb, but I think Shedeur's game is more translatable at the next level, is more polished and has less to fix.

The future is bright if they can get a teams 1st this year, 1st next year, 2 2nds, and a few 3rd or 4th rounders.. that makes the most sense to do right? I’m going to be completely honest & unbiased. Since the Steve McNair days Tennessee has never treated black QB’s with the proper respect. The Titans locked McNair out of team headquarters in the offseason due to a series of injuries that ended his seasons. Then they traded him, keep in mind he was the 2003 MVP. Moving on, Vince Young 2006 draft. Only played 6 seasons, 75 sacks with in 5 seasons with Titans so what that means he had a crappy OL his entire time he was their he missed most of 2010 with only 9 games played and just about all of 2008 with 3 games. The OL was so bad around him who can forget the infamous WWE body slam that happened to him. Finally Malik Willis 2022 in the 3 round, didn’t ever get a chance to start a full season. Was told by his starting QB Ryan Tannehill it’s not his job to babysit nobody. Titans organization issued no fine or punishment for speaking against his team. A rookie at that! Release Malik Willis and made Will Levis the starting quarterback as if he took us to the playoffs. Think what you will but these the facts!
@exposingthetruth51889 күн бұрын
Tennessee doesn’t do well with black Quarterbacks I’m sorry but their track record sucks with black Quarterbacks. Only reason they kept Steve McNair long they did is because he came in with the new franchise and he was a MVP. Yet even after that he they had been talking about trading until they did to Baltimore. No I don’t trust Cam Career or Sanders career with this organization. Until I see them pick up a black Free Agent and give him a far full season, no I don’t trust them with black QBs. Now Travis will be fine , he’s not a QB, he’ll sell tickets and you can build around him. No I don’t think the Titans organization is racist I just don’t think they fair well with black Quarterbacks. If I’m Shedeur the only way I go is if I know this organization is 1000% behind me and it’s a opportunity that my dad will coach the team sooner than later.

@McNairSteve-dp4rw and what happened when Titans came to Green Bay? 13-19 202yards 1TD Rushing: 6rush 73yards 1TD. He cooked them in one ☝️ game. Of course he not going to do good if you never the starter and bringing him in on gadget plays and when the team down. Out of 11 games with TN he only started in 3 games and that’s because Tannehill was hurt. You must never played football 🏈. Let me give you some insight all QBs need timing and rhythm to build chemistry with the offense. This why you never see QBs traded during the season because it takes an entire offseason and mini camp to build timing with your WRs and Offensive Linemen.

#Titanup. Tyler, good points, and also thank you for the converse to NOT taking Shadeur Sanders. I would say it's going to be a really interesting 2025 NFL Draft. I do think both Sanders and Ward are good prospects--definitely draft worthy probably 1st round but who knows? I would say if you not including the Titans you have 5 other teams that need quarterbacks. The Browns and Giants would they trade up? What kind of compensation are we looking at IF we moved down? We could assume then the Titans would have to get a quarterback via trade or free agency. It's really what is Callahan and the Titans brain trust prefers...I'd say that offensive line needs a big time injection of talent whomever is behind center. Levis was awful but we've got to address that oline. As far as timing and rhythm, Levis did not have it but our oline also was equally bad. I think, unless the Titans are literally blown away by Cleveland- or any of those teams (do they love Sanders or Ward REALLY?)

Great Qb(Sanders) and great for Marketing #jersey sales ,ward want sale like Sanders in Marketing
@jasonwolfe98989 күн бұрын
Yeah, I dont like the "best fit" concept for QBs. Great coaches develop a scheme to fit the player. If you cant make a system work for QB you have, you have failed as a coach...assuming you have a GOOD QB and appropriate supporting roster. You take the BEST talent and mould your scheme to fit them. Again, this only applies to the QB, which is the MOST important player on the team. I think Callahans comments on Levis were taken out of context. Callahan tried to modify his scheme to fit Levis, but due to OL struggles, it didnt work. He acknowledged that Levis is a down-field passer, but they COULDNT do that because they couldnt protect long enough (and Levis couldnt move in the pocket well enough) for the plays to develop. So, Callahan NEEDED to revise the scheme to incorporate more of a TIMING style and Levis doesn't do that well. He said he tried to blend the scheme to be timing and down-field throws, but Levis struggled with that due to his own weaknesses and OL protection. That said, is Sanders is the "system guy" and Ward is the more 'dynamic guy", I want the dynamic one. Yes, maybe Ward isnt as accurate and maybe isnt as good at a timing based scheme, but if he has more physical abilities and is better overall, thats who I want. Additionally, I almost see Ward as similar to Levis as far as physical talent, but better in pocket awareness, reading defenses and extending plays, which is where Levis struggles.
@JayCanuck0079 күн бұрын
I'll float this idea here first... Titans trade back to #6, or #7 overall... Titans get pick #6, along with the Raiders 2025, 2nd, and 3rd round picks, and the Raiders 2026, 1st round pick. At #6 overall, the Titans select Ashton Jeanty, and use the extra picks to build the offensive line. The Titans roll with Levis for one more season, and use the acquired Raiders 1st round pick, along with their own, to select the quarterback of the future (Arch Manning), and an elite wide receiver. Ashton Jeanty is the best player in the 2025 draft, and will be a top 3 running back in the league as a rookie.
@howarddickersonjr.69949 күн бұрын
What had Arch manning proved over Shedeur or Cam Ward! You have a chance right now to get your franchise QB, but you’d rather not get them and instead wait a extra year to draft a white QB who has never shown to be better than Cam or Shedeur in high school or college! 🤦🏽♂️

@@howarddickersonjr.6994 My favorite quarterback of all time, is Warren Moon, and I'm a huge Jayden Daniels fan, so it has nothing to do with color. 😂 Ashton Jeanty just happens to be black, and he is the best player in the draft. I am not a scout but i did watch all of his games this year, lots of screens, lots of double coverage throws, his Wrs are insanely good. Those guys carried him, imo. 5:36 Dude also threw his OL under the bus, they actually are not that bad, he holds the ball way to long. He also pushed a ref. So he is not mature, but callahan couldnt come out and say that this kid probably has an 85 iq and is a spoiled brat, so there is that.

Choosing Cam Ward over the best quarterback in this year’s draft Shedeur Sanders would be like choosing Kevin Dyson over Randy Moss all over again.

Sheduer Sanders not that talented as a Quarterback to be comparing to Randy Moss who was super talented as a Wide Receiver 😂😂😂

So I disagree taking Sheduer Sanders over Abdul Carter would be like when Titans took Jake Locker over JJ Watt

@ Shedeur is better than that so called mayonnaise eating QB from Kentucky who can’t read NFL Defenses that’s for sure.

I would say Sheduer is Kirk Cousins without the mistakes.

We don't need another QB....let's get a seasoned QB and use the pick to build around him

I just can’t see them drafting Cam Ward , I think it gives them too much Will levis PTSD.

Sanders is more Levis than Ward by far? Sanders is a 1 read wonder once that fails he runs and gets sacked typical Levis vibes... Watch his game tape, its almost identical.
@choov75549 күн бұрын
I think both are not really any better than Levis… maybe they both excel above all expectations, but I just don’t see it at the moment

They won’t over sanders

@@Rx_Leeyou clearly haven’t watched sanders. He’s not a one read wonder he goes through his progressions, his pre snap reads, and post snap reads are what makes him the best QB in the draft. Levis was a turnover machine whereas sanders has one of the lowest turnover worthy rates in the last few drafts. He’s way more accurate than Levis, reads defenses way better, and has the ability to put the team on his back. When people make claims like you just did it says everything about your ability to watch film
