did you know that in the bible story of placing the blood over the door post so the angel of death would pass that the blood was to be spred with hyssop? You probably already know but someone might not that the blood over the door post represents Jesus blood the door post is our minds Jesus blood represents His sacrifice for our salvation the battle for our salvation is in the mind in the book of Ephesians we put on the helmet of salvation we put on salvation we put on the blood with hyssop our forehead if you do not have your door post covered with Jesus blood of salvation the angel of death will come to visit you that is where the angel will see the mark of the beast the holy of holys between the two temples on ither side of where your eyes are the true temple of God if you want to know the REAL story of salvation start with the hyssop the hyssop in the bible is only native in Jerusalem or Israel because that is where Jesus ' blood was shed

Diabetics- it has blood sugar lowering properties, it inhibits activity of the enzyme alpha-glucosidase (which helps break down starch into sugar). Used correctly, it can possibly deter sugar spikes after meals, HOWEVER do more research before consuming with additional medications. Stay healthy. Stay safe 🫶🏽✌🏽

You did a Great Job with this Shedwars21 video! To spotlight and teach an ancient healing and flavorful herb was wonderful. I really appreciate the way you put the caution in for people to do lots of research before they jump in. That is very good. Great tip on trimming them back. Well done! This will teach people!

I was looking into hyssop and came across one of its cousins .Winter Savory is hardy, easy to grow and propagate from soft wood. I added one plant to the herb patch last season and it likes my garden .If you don't already have some you might want to look into it. I am definitely going to look for a hardy variety of hyssop this year. CHEERS

I just found your channel, I'm loving the reference to plants you can grow for other uses beyond outdoor decor. Hyssop officinalis is an introduced plant, why not try also growing species native to your region. Giant hyssop, Agastache foeniculum, is also in the mint family, an important medicinal plant and makes amazing tea. A. nepetoides is another medicinal.

I'm guessing this is Anise Hyssop? not Hyssopus officinalis? Hyssopus officinalis is European/middle eastern holy herb, its a cousin plant to the shrub version from the bible used by the israelites called Ezob. Hyssopus officinalis was what was used in the tabernacle by the priests (levities). While anise Hyssop is the American Indian version i believe, used in their practices (but I'm not as familiar with their culture) both were seen as sacred plants. The older one being Hyssopus officinalis, known for being many thousands of years old used by a huge range of cultures historically in Europe. Anise Hyssop is more modern (medieval times modern - so still ancient). They have different medical properties also. Typically Hyssopus officinalis is referred to as Hyssop and Anise Hyssop is called Anise Hyssop instead.
