Prince ruled the 80s! lots of great artist but he was on fire!

Only Prince could write something like this. lol. They collaborated in an interesting fashion there for a minute. Their duet "U Got the Look' was a massive hit and a great funky rocker. Check out Easton's very first hit from back in 1980 or '81, the charmingly catchy "Morning Train (Nine to Five)." It was huge worldwide hit. Her actual first single, the cute "Modern Girl," was propelled back up the charts after the success of "Morning Train."

Sheena Easton is a beautiful Scottish singer who had many hits during the 198o's. The pne being.MORNING TRAIN 9 to 5. Later in the decade she kept us dancing and breathing heavy with songs like, WHAT COMES NATURALLY, THE LOVER IN ME, ALMOST OVER YOU. She also has a great duet with Kenny Rogers on the Bob Seger hit WEVE GOT TONIGHT. Enjoy

She had a very wholesome image for years and wanted to get more sexy, so the song Strut and Sugar Walls definitely were a way to break that mold. Similar in a way to Olivia Newton-John who was very "girl next door" wholesome for all of the 70s until literally her character's transformation in Grease was very popular and then she did the song Let's Get Physical...

I can’t remember the third one but the first was “Darling Nikki” I still wanna know why her daughter played that in front of her…you listen to MJ in front of the family….you listen to Prince alone with the volume turned down and your ear to the speaker…. I really prefer back when writers had to use their imaginations to come up with clever euphemisms for certain things. That creativity has definitely been tossed out the window these days!! I SWEAR the other day I heard a song by some girl and I am POSITIVE at one point she said "I'll give my pussy to you 9 to 5" and I was pretty surprised, to say the least!
