This is a beautiful song written by a cousin of the Duddy family. It's called "Jackie" by Gerry Breslin. Thank you for your blessing - I hope you enjoy my take on it.

It was amazing, one of the best versions I have heard. It brings tears to my eyes, specially the part where it says that the false accusations have seaced. He is dead and it was an injustice, but least he can reast in peace and his family have a little of calm. It hits home hard because the father of my grandmother was killed by firing squad after the spanish civil war, because of his position on the regional republican government, he didn't kill no one. He is dead, as well as Jackie, and his daughter and my grandmother are very old, death is close to them. I don't want a trial, but at least that they tell us that he was innocent and that his execution was not fair, and no one van ever accuse as of something. Cheers from Spain
