My advice is to find someone who is compatible with you. I have 2 children and have been working but have decided to stay home now that my husband’s earns a lot more. I know that I want to spend more time with my children and relax a little more, and would never feel like I cannot ask my husband for money (I just tap his card tbh) because we both don’t have to contribute financially. You can contribute it other ways. I do agree that lazy men is not okay. Even when I am home, my husband is still a big part of the household (with the kids, with cleaning etc)

I really like the fact that she explained what "young" might mean when someone recommends getting married young. A lot of people assume its early 20's right off the bat. However, you can also get married at 25, 28, or 30 and still be young. By then, you're frontal lobe has developed and you're more sure of who you are and what you want out of life. Young might not represent an age as much as it represents a mindset and phase in your life. It's important to be mature, but not so set in your ways that bringing someone into your life would cause problems. You want to be able to grow with someone, not set yourself up for growing apart. Important ideas to keep in mind when considering marriage. Great podcast!

That would be ideal...As a woman, I would say if you want to get married, aim by 30. As for men, I would say by early 30s. Life is short and goes by quickly. I am someone who is in her mid-30s and not married due to having a problematic circumstance. However, I feel like the most growth happened in my 30s,, and my EQ has dramatically improved.
@BlacFireSanАй бұрын
You should be married by 25 at the latest. 28-35 you might experience fertility problems. And birth defects possibly.
@gogetta4085Ай бұрын
Waiting till 30 is a bit of a stretch for women. We can say everything about maturity and brain development etc but the fact is a 30 year old woman is not as desired as a younger woman. I agree that the woman should be mature but not the extend that she is so set in her ways that a man can’t Tell her nothing, and not being submissive to him. Its a balance. I still believe that a woman that’s 23 can still be mature enough and not set in her ways either.
@AC-vp8hiАй бұрын
So many women have children by their early 40s. No birth defects issues or even fertility issues. However, it is essential to have a blood test and other tests to check fertility - once a year. I know someone who got married at 24 and had fertility issues, but not her 27-year-old cousin. Every woman's body is different. Becoming a parent is life-changing, and not everyone can handle it in their 20s.

I gotta say I also met my husband on one of these apps and we got married after 3 months and we are 2 years strong and enjoying our life together Alhamdulilah. I do want to say that we were blessed from Allah, there are MANYYY men on these apps that are not practicing, looking for green cards, or just want to date in the sense of western dating. Be careful sisters but never lose hope. Allah is with us ❤

It’s good to see an intelligent young sister delivering such wisdom about marriage and life. And it’s true 90% of people out there that always have opinion on marriage are not married or they had one terrible marriage experience.

We married after just a month and a half and it was the best decision we have made. It felt like Allah was instantly happier with us, and we have a great relationship! Everyone is surprised when they hear that I am 21 and married my husband in such a short time, but I am surprised when I hear people who wait… this is a great video. Thank you!!

I live in Kenya and the reality she mentioned about having a house manager at home is quite the norm. However this type of help is a bit more expensive because the govt regulated how much they get paid. But it is the Norm more often than not to get paid help at home. With traffic in Nairobi, it is hectic coming from work to go home to cook, homework and laundry...
