Just a small technicality: That's not Wile E Coyote, its a different character called Ralph Wolf. He has basically the exact same personality as Wile E, except that trying to steal the sheep is literally his job. He stops at the end of the working day. It surprises me that there was a game based on Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog considering the duo only had 7 cartoons.

I played a demo of this game on the Official Playstation Magazine Sample Disc No. 52 (the same one that contained Harry Potter The Sorcerers Stone, and the Watchable Demo of Jak & Daxter for PlayStation 2). I am honestly considering getting this game!

Luckily, there was only one level after that one: the true final level. I've heard there's three ways to beat the desert level. The easiest is to get close to Sam, Bleat (he'll try to pick you up) and then go bleat at the sheep, and lure it to the goal circle. If Sam does pick you up, he'll notice there's an extra sheep (you) and attack. If he sees both sheep before trying to grab them, he'll attack. So the trick is to make him slowly walk towards you before trying to lure the real sheep. I think the other way involves stealing the sheep, getting it on the train, and then outracing the road runner to ensure that he can't prevent you from getting to the final train stop, picking up the sheep there, knocking out Sam with the sheep rock fired from the catapult, and then getting yourself and the sheep into the goal circle before he wakes up.

the control was not lagged, it's the port. the 4th level was not that hard, it's just about timing, there is a big window if you compare with some later levels. I finished this game when i was 9yo. it's one of the top games i've ever played but mostly because it was the game i played to forget the world during the divorce of my parents.

for me the hardest level was the 10, that boss is really a fuckin dsadajkl xd, i finished all the levels in 9 hours, with all the hidden clocks. it Was really greatful. Something you got to mention is the music in the game, is very impressive and sweet jazzy music

Another great Looney Toons video game from PS1 days, (I haven't played this one, but it sure looks good), is Bugs Bunny Lost in Time. It's a platformer featuring Bugs, and it's amazing, and you go to a lot of different time periods and levels and you collect cocks and golden carrots to unlock more levels. The clocks are necessary for completing the game; you need 120 out of 124 of the clocks. And you don't collect these items necessarily in the way you collect crystals in Crash or something, where you just go and finish a level and that's it...the levels are quite open and you get to explore and find stuff, and there are stuff you cannot get because there are powerups you need to obtain later in the game to get them, and there are puzzles... it's really good. Think Gex 2 or 3, I suppose in terms of openess, maybe less so though. This video reminded me of the game, so I thought I'd mention it. Very nice vid, Hippo.

The game has a lot of charm and I love the prospects of it, but I hate the unfairness from the lack of tweeking of polishing. It feels really untested and unbalanced in some aspects where it really shouldn't If you know what to do, the game shouldn't give you so much shit trying to actually do it.

I really like the visual presentation of that game now. I've never even heard of that game until now. The great animations added to PS1 graphics looks really odd, but great. It almost feels like looking at a really low poly version of a Gamecube/PS2/Oringal Xbox game. EDIT: I found out this is on PC, and I watched a video of the PC version, and the graphics look like a game in the Gamecube/PS2/Original Xbox era. The people who made it must've made the PC version first, and then changed the textures and models to fit the limitations of the PS1. Pretty cool.

I think you're exaggerating on lvl 4. I was able to beat it as a kid. What you want to do is use two goes of it. One to get the fan and ther other to get the sheep.

Props to you trying to sneak through Sam so close to him though. I sneaked from as far away as possible as to give me as many opportunities to creep forward. Also, the skit with hippo was great, mostly due to my fondness for Okami.

To be fair, it's not that difficult. Really, it's not that difficult. Yes, the train level can be a bit frustrating if you fail it over and over. Never had the issue with the flute and the bull. However, yes, I too feel Sam wakes up a bit too fast, but IIRC, you can just tap the inventory button to put the item away. You can also jump on the little platform near the raft to confuse Sam a bit, always works for me. Also, you didn't do the hardest (puzzle-wise) levels. The hardest level is the second bonus level. You can access them when you get to them in the level hub (which is pretty early), but you gotta know where they are, which is not easy to find unless you know where to look. You can buy hints about how to access them in the level hub from hitting the secret collectible clock in each level. Hardest thing in the game to me is the red giant boss where you get pushed out into the lava. That part always get me a couple of times. Got complete playthrough of the game on my channel in case anyone think I'm just bragging or whatever. Beat the game like 4 times or something.
