I love the Blackmill sounds but it almost sounds like his work TOO much... Again Blackmill is one of my favourite artists but this one feels too close to his stuff for me to comfortably feel like it was a coincidence. But I gotta say I welcome this sound again

I say it with caution and uncertainty but there was a producer I found in late 2014 and/or early 2015 that posted songs that was recreations of Blackmill songs. Same melodies, same everything just remade from the ground up. They had different names so we would think it was originals(?), but the inner Blackmill nerd in me noticed it instantly and I asked him, pointed it out that it's wrong and it's actually stealing. He seemed to avoid it all for a long while, maybe up to a year. I think that was Vexaic but I'm not 100% sure. However I think he learned from those mistakes and now focuses on original music. One problem was he released those "stolen" songs on a label. It takes a very skilled musician to recreate Blackmill songs, all melodies, chords and basslines etc. I hope he uses that talent to make his own works like this song "Imminent" and I think he does these days :) Anyway I told this story because music is really personal, down to the smallest melody and I think we should promote people that make their own music mainly :)
