Back in the day our fell sheep (swaldales.). in weardale co durham ( had the intials of past registerd owners of hefting rights) followed by a red mark / hornburn intials into horns... last of all ...ear notches cut out... bit of a faf but there was no fences to keep flocks apart on moors...a very happy xmas to you and all family and a healthy 2024🎅🍺🎁🎉🎊
