It is time for the April 2021 SheetLoad of Cards a SPECIAL Mini Slimline Card Edition! In today’s video I share a look at the first set I made using the FREE printable file, give you a couple tips and let you know how you can download the file for yourself.

Hi Alicia, I thought of something as I was watching your video. I always add an inside layer to my cards for a printed message inside. There is enough space below the card base to make that inside layer. Then pieces B & C can be cut from the right side leftover edge after cutting away the bases. You can fit 3 on each of 4 pages for the sentiment layers and 3 on each of 4 pages for the white mat layers, with 2 extra sheets leftover for some other project. Just thought I would pass that on to you if others use inside messages as I do. By the way, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your paper choices and these cards are just beautiful!!! Happy Easter, Alicia!

This is great! I have those non security envelopes from the Dollar Tree. Haha. If someone is concerned about using too much cardstock, they could make the card a 3 x 6 and get 4 card bases from one sheet of 12 x 12.

Nice design. I changed it up a little. I have a lot of 3.5" strips cut from one edge of 12" paper. I did a side fold and made a 3.5x6" card. I made minor adjustments to the other pieces. My large Scor It makes a perfect envelope for the card. I find making envelopes very relaxing.

Love it! Are the cards on the sheet always to size like you mentioned on this? If so I never realized that before that was a great tip to see if your sentiment would fit.

They are always designed to size, but if your printer reduces at all, it may make them slightly smaller. Sometimes I will do a smaller scale drawing if I need to give special cutting/layout instructions, but the main sketch itself is always at 100% :) Never really thought to share that info before - glad you asked :)

I just found you today...thank you for your tutorial and free sheets! I love how you have all the information on those sheets but my printer keeps printing very light...im not sure if its because your details are light or not :( I really want to print them all out!

Make sure you are using 'best' quality when you are printing. I haven't had others say it is too light to read and mine printed okay, so not sure what would be causing that.. Thanks for watching!
