Nobody's going to mention how Rafał did an amazing job on this? This isn't one of those performances that pianists who want some attention make, failing miserably and making a complete mess with the phrases, this is a perfect performance in which we can hear every single note distinctly, plus the expression is otherworldly! This was AMAZING, and the Cadenza Andrew composed is fantastic!

Absolutely in love with your original cadenza, feels like a direct extension to the piece and it completely fits the style that Liszt has already achieved. This is an incredible performance of Hungarian Rhapsody No 2! Lizst was a master of fast demisemiquavers and anticipation, especially from 5:24 to 5:55. The music sounds like anticipation when you are getting to the end of an extremely long race😊

It's literally around the half-way point in difficulty for Liszt's pieces. He wrote hundreds of more difficult pieces. I can visualise each scene of the Tom and Jerry episode Cat Concerto like when Jerry was running under the keys or when Tom’s seat got raised up to the ceiling... Childhood has been brought back to me thanks to this masterpiece.
