Yeah I burnt out, and it wasn’t until I took a break from uploading that I identified why. My two goals when I started uploading Lethal Company were to reach youtube partnership and then earn enough through youtube to financially support myself without a day job, both of which to show the gamers in my circle that it was possible. And I reached both of those goals a lot sooner than I thought. I didn’t really have any meaningful goals after that, so when Larry and Nico got tired of Lethal Company and my schedule changed to where I couldn’t collaborate regularly with Crew Inc, I stepped back to identify a new goal for myself and figure out a new strategy. I realized that I was able to upload so consistently because I had a meaningful goal to work toward and a gameplan to get there, so now that I have a new goal with a corresponding gameplan I’m back to uploading :) I ended up picking up a new 9-5 in my time away so I could focus on developing that gameplan rather than just putting out content for money’s sake, and now that I have my vision in place my first step is to earn enough from it to leave my 9-5 again 😂 My new strategy does NOT rely on earning through ad revenue/sponsorships/subscriptions/etc (since that’s not how youtubers/content creators “actually make money”), so I’m excited to see what I can do in these next six months knowing what I know now!
