I quite enjoyed this collection video. I think you’ve curated some of the more select specimens even among Taylor’s! Thanks for all you do on the channel 🙏

They're nice knives aren't they? I have a couple and like yourself I have always appreciated the sealed effect with the tang. Saves a lot of rubbish getting into the knife's. I only have one other knife that does this, an old Wostenholme lambs foot. Thanks for the education with the other Barlow's I do like that saw cut spear point. For what it's worth it was a Taylor's that first drew me to pocket knives, my Dads knive that he purchased for rabbit hunting when he returned home to Australia after the Korean war .

Always a pleasure to see your knives Eric. I think I caught my addiction to Sheffield Barlows from you!!! I currently have 18 TEW premier Barlows and, like you, the only ones I've doubled up on are Rams Horn and Iron Wood because these vary so much. I also have Barlows from the other Sheffield makers as well.

Hi, just a thought with your TEW knives and fingerprints - have you tried EDCi formula? I use - great stuff.

Amazing collection of taylors barlows you have there. Congratulations. The best buffalo I've ever seen along with the iron wood you showed. I didn't realise that the gold mesh was one of only three, I have one of them myself. Thanks for the info. The taylors barlows are actually very good value for the quality imo. Also got a couple you have. A stag, mop, palm wood and a iron wood Barlow that is pretty nice, but is twin blade, not as nice as yours. Actually prefer single blade, but couldn't resist the iron wood... Atb and awesome collection..

Your collection is coming along very nicely by the sound of things, too! They are almost half of my TEW collection. I’ve 26 more in other patterns. The gold mesh isn’t my favourite, but it’s probably the rarest. At least it was last time I spoke to Lee, but that was over a year ago! I’ve not seen any come up though.

Another 26?!!!! Wow. I have a couple slims, I think they are nice as well, That gold mesh one is interesting as in direct sun it becomes almost transparent and shows the layers. Completely different look outside of the house. Alt

A brilliant selection, as always. Your collection is truly museum worthy, as others have remarked. I believe those Rams Horn models are growing on me. I also wish Taylor's made their Slim Barlow with the Barlow's bolster...and perhaps a wider variety of materials! Then again, I'd have to sell the rest of my knife collection to afford them! 😅 Lovely video, as always. Cheers!

It’s taken a lot of time and work to get them, and a little cash too… though less than you’d think! Their ram’s horn without doubt the best you’ll find anywhere, but even then, you still need to see the exact piece you’re buying as it’s a natural product and can vary wildly.

A total delight to be taken through this collection Eric. The squared end is nice. GEC do it on their #73 Trappers and it brings something extra to a knife. Proud to have been the supplier of your stag and buffalo TIWs - good to see them again. I still have my solitary Amboyna example which I enjoy a lot - plus the twin of your Ramshorn Swayback Lambfoot of course.

When you're dealing with natural material, you never really have two knives that are truly double! The stag and the pearl are awesome. Some of those wood handles are simply amazing. I was surprised to see a couple two blade Barlows in the batch! I'll be watching this video a few times. So many beautiful Barlows! The first two Steven Cocker Barlows are about the closest thing there is to what are typical American Barlows but much nicer. That Stag handled Steven Cocker was an amazing knife It think when the bolsters are shorter American's used to call the knives a "Boys Knife" I think the best thing about all of these knives are they are truly handmade! As opposed to many of the C-N-C knives coming out of China that pretend to be handmade! Thanks for sharing. You could've rattled on for another half hours and I would've enjoyed this twice as much! Stay strong my friend, My prayers are with you.
