In this episode we look back at the 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield United on Monday night.
We discuss Arsenal's ruthlessness and dominance in the early stages, in the context of a big tactical misstep by the opposition. Nevertheless, our performance deserves a lot of credit, the goalscoring form continues and the goal difference has been improved once again. We chat about the goals we scored and the players who impressed, why we were probably right to take our foot off the gas in the second half, and the second half substitutions which saw a couple of experienced players get what could be important minutes. Havertz goal was my favourite of the night. The fact that Odegaard is shouting for the pass in a pretty good position and Havertz is like nah bro its my turn before confidently smashing the ball across the keeper was beautiful.

Getting worried about Ramsdale vs Brentford as in the reverse fixture he was a large bag of nerves and was bailed out by Rice goal line clearance.

I just forgot about Ramsdale will be in Goal against Brentford. So why didn't Arteta bring him at half time to integrate him properly for that game.

I'm with you there, James - that away kit is a win at big rival and a trophy away from becoming iconic. Don't get me wrong, I can't ever see myself wearing one down the juicer... but I am starting to love seeing the players in it! It's starting to feel intimidating.

Havertz has taken some time to settle in at Arsenal . It should be noted that he is of late showing consistency and in this moment in time is the equal 2nd top scorer at Arsenal with 7 goals and good assist numbers , his work rate on and off the ball is high and his runs into space are very good.His pressing to a high standard . Surely the doubters should realise Artetta was right and he's worth the Transfer fee ,and a good addition to our team.

The disrespect towards Partey is absurd... To say the team has moved beyond him because the guy (Jorginho) he kept out of the team all last season has come in and had 2 or 3 really good games is ludicrous. Partey hasn't played regular football since last season, so to criticise him because of a few miss placed passes in his first 30 minutes back where he was largely good is mental. ...WTF?

I love the show gentlemen and as Henry said we havnt won anything yet but for me this is the best team in the last 20 years.50 years supporting my club and these are exciting days 2024 has been brilliant and I live in Spain but I will take a flight to London and celebrate in the 12 pins love the Arsenal

You don't go off grimacing with no weight on foot from a cut. Hopefully it's just a gash and bruising and not fracture 🙏. We should be able to manage against Brentford without him without being complacent

The issue with Georginio and Partey is that neither is capable of playing every game . To be able to play either without a drop in the way the the team plays is the sweet spot. Both are not long term solutions so getting the right profiled younger player in settled and capable of playing most games is the perfect solution.

Think Man U are coming. These guys are serious and know what they are doing. 3 years they will probably closed the gap. If we don't win it its important we lose it the right way not like last season. Losing at City won't make us a bad team. If they beat us and Liverpool it's probably theirs If they lose to both of us then maybe it's us or Liverpool. 2 points I want back are 1 up against 10 man Fulham at home.😢. U think we were still 5 points ahead this time last year and maybe City game equivalent game to Liverpool. We actually got decent result and then blew it . Its early days yet. We were excellent, got all the breaks as well but amusingly had lower xg than against Liverpool 😂. Odeegard among others deserves to be in a title winning team. I thought Jesus actually looked a bit out of place too. Michael Owen talked of worst defending he has ever seen and said players should have screamed at Sousa " that's cost us the game" the Odegaard goal lack of tracking lol. If not for that...
