(1 July 1918 - 8 August 2005),
He was a self-taught Muslim thinker, author, and orator on Comparative Religion from South Africa.
He was best known as a Muslim missionary, who held numerous inter-religious public debates with evangelical Christians, as well as video lectures on Islam, Christianity, and the Bible.
Ahmed Deedat established the IPCI, an international Islamic missionary organisation, and wrote several widely distributed booklets on Islam and Christianity.
He was awarded the King Faisal International Prize in 1986 for his fifty years of missionary work.
He wrote and lectured in English.

In 1936, while working as a furniture salesman, he met a group of missionaries at a Christian seminary on the Natal South Coast who, during their efforts to convert people of the Muslim faith, often accused the Islamic prophet Muhammad of having "used the sword" to bring people to Islam.
Such accusations offended Deedat and created his interest in comparative religion.

Melchisedek was none other than JESUS CHRIST himself in the old testament brother. Your twists and turns are of no use. Adam too has a father gentleman. Luke 3 - 14 tells clearly Adam was the son of GOD. Know the truth before being preaching. All cannot understand the divinity of lord Jesus Christ. Bible calls them liars. Titus 3: 9-11 says like this. Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them. . understand. Byhearting few verses in the bible and reciting them doesn't make you a scholar. Wildasses are meant for sex and it cannot understand divinity.

The contrast is so vast yet Muslims don't open their eyes to see it, or refuse to see it. One is a saviour who lived righteously and died for mankind, so they can be saved. The other is a man who went on conquering and taking over cities, women, children and slaves for himself(whatever pleased him) and ordered his followers to they the same, then added the nam of God to his actions.

@@Dav624 our purpose isn't just to go to heaven. It is like telling an ambassador or a high commissioner that his only duty is to get back to his home country. He was appointed and assigned for a purpose. Genesis 1:26-31. We lost our way with God after the fall. The death and resurrection was to give us a second chance at completing our task; which if we don't, it will end like Genesis 6:5 onwards. Just look at the chaos going on in countries like US, UK, Canada, Europe, Asia, etc. That is what happens when man deviates from God's purpose.

@@Dav624 in legal jurisprudence, every crime or error committed must be accounted for. A judge doesn't just forgive crimes, even if they plead guilty. That is why the death penalty comes in. And the substitution with Jesus just implicates us that the chance we wasted has been amended so this time we live for Jesus, not for ourselves again since our lives was worthy of death penalty. Jesus could take away the sins of man because he never sinned. Compare to Islam where all sins are suddenly forgiven just because you have done many right things. That won't hold in court. The logic of Christianity is better understood by comparing to how things are run everyday in this world, especially the justice system. Study the book of Romans for more insight into these legal matters.

If Jesus died for our sins than this automatically makes us pure from any sin wich also means ur explanation that we lost connection with God was because of our sins only because God doesn't become unfair to anyone so now since God put us on earth for our sins than Jesus died for them so now we should be automatically pure of any sin and be innocent people and God would never punish someone innocent so he would make us go to heaven immediately because he is most merciful but as you can very well witness Christians who believe Jesus died for our sins still aren't in heaven they are on earth just like u and me no matter how much they worshipped Jesus they still haven't gone to heaven so now this just proves how illogical ur whole religion is...don't talk about other people religion when yours is already illogical

he was from my town. Even prominent Sunni and Shia businessmen in my town did not favour him, despite being moderate to staunch muslim. Much after his death, i happened to have an odd friendship with his now late son, especially since i was hindu. He was in praise of me and my media work and somewhat a dear friend. Whenever he heard other competing media unofficially praise my work , he took the greatest joy to share this information, as though, my success was his as well. Jovial nice guy. He once confessed to me, this is "all about money" when i brought up the topic of religion! Sad to hear he was murdered outside court. I think we should not hate his father, as in the end, his father died believing in Jesus. God had shown him the way through his own suffering!!

Is God in human form superior to a lost man? Through Christ, God gave us back the divine life mankind lost in its fall. Hence the divine healing miracles and casting out of demons, we experience up to this day. To not see God in Christ.... is impossible. "The Father and I are one!" "If you see Me, you see the Father!" "Don't you believe that the Father is IN Me?" "ALL (!) AUTHORITY in heaven and earth has been given to Me!". (Only God has all authority). At healing the paralytic: "Your sins have been forgiven you!" (Only God can forgive sins). "I am THE (not a) light of the world"......: God. "I have come to give you Zoë (=divine life) in abundance".... Only God can give Zoë life. "I am from above, you are from beneath. You are from this world, I am not from this world"..... Etc, etc, etc, When He explained these things, healed the sick, casted out demons, raised the dead, controlled nature for 3 years, they all worshipped Him as God/Messiah.... except for the critical scholars and farisees! He NEVER said: "Don't worship Me, I am just a prophet!". The Jews wanted to stone Him because: "You claim to be God". So Jesus is God manifesting in Human form. Period. Glad He did. So now we finally know the sayings and actions of God. Next step. To not see Jesus bringing the divine life of the ages back to you-manity.... is impossible. "I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, etc, etc" "Follow Me, the miracles I do, you will do too" "God is IN you" "The Kingdom of God is IN you" "He who meets you, meets Me". "You and I are one" "You will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am in you" "See, I have given you power over all the forces of the enemy" "I have come to give you Zoë (=divine life) in abundance!" Etc, etc, etc. Hence the divine healing miracles and casting out of demons with His first 12+72 friends. As i understood these things, i experienced healing miracles and the casting out of demons already thousands of times and many other true believers do too. Yay! Conclusion of Paul after having revelation and healing all on Malta: "Jesus, the exact image of the invisible God. The fullness of deity dwells in Jesus bodily" and you have been made complete IN Him (the last Adam), who is the head of every principality and power". John (who had seen, touched, heard Jesus and walked in the same power and love): "the invisible God manifested in human form, in Christ and now in us". Thomas having revelation saying to Jesus: "My Lord and My God!". Jesus being God did NOT correct Him. Etc, etc, etc. His life totally proves He is God in human form. Begotten by the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God, healing all, raising the dead, casting out demons, controlling nature, raised from the dead, pouring out His Spirit for us to be indwelled by to be empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons, etc, etc, etc. Way to much to degrade Him to "just a prophet". So... Jesus is the manifestation of God in a human body.... "the Son" of God. He came to take the alienation away mankind got trapped in after the fall. He came to give us back the divine life Adam/mankind lost in its fall. Because of this fall, a perfect Holy sacrifice had to be made. That is what God did in Christ! It shows His deep, pure, affectionate passion from Him to you/His creation, to restore you back to origin: Christlikeness. Walking in divine power and unselfish divine love. Jesus walked flawless. Muhammed on the other hand.... Muhammed came after Jesus. He unfortunately never understood God's resolve for mankind's fall, wrote another story, called it the only truth, cutting of the real truth, leading millions astray from their godly identity in Christ. Heartbreaking. But for those who take Jesus for who He is and ask to be filled by His godly Holy Spirit.....: divine life. Tangible presence of God, healings, demons running for cover, etc. Just as with His first 12+72 friends. God will make you experience the full (godly) Life made possible through Holy Spirit. So don't be afraid to leave islam. God can only be found in/through Jesus Christ. Ask Him to fill you with His/God's Holy Spirit so He can guide you into truth and transform your life. You and God/Jesus are finally one again. He will open your eyes and give you Zoë (divine life). You will be growing into Him in all things. The life you see in Him and His first 12+72 friends. I experience it since 25 years and so will you.

Jesus told us who His Father is. So did Gabriel the Archangel in Luke 1:26-33. When Jesus prayed to God He called God by the name Father not Allah, John 17:1. The reason Jesus is greater than Adam is because Adam fell into sin and brought death into the world. That's why everything that is born eventually dies. Melchizedek was king and high priest of Jerusalem. He lived during the time of father Abraham and blessed him. We don't know the history or genealogy of Melchizedek but Jesus has taken his priesthood. That's what Ahmed Deedat failed to tell you. Jesus is King and High Priest of the Kingdom of Heaven and He serves God His Father.

Ahmed Deedat with his deceit again. Messiah means saviour, Other prophets don't share that title. The only other person who share the title Messiah in the Bible is the Father. Do see how he conveniently said 'I don't know' when asked if Mohammed raised the dead? Mohammed didn't perform any miracle according to Islamic most authentic books. Wrong, Messiah means anointed, even cyrus in the bible was called Messiah, get your facts right. Muhammad peace be upon him did many miracles, he healed people, he fed people, he split the moon, and went up to heaven, spoke to God directly, and came back. Obviously you knew nothing about this or just chose to ignore it. No one claims Muhammad peace be upon him "pre-existed" unless they mean "in the knowledge of God" which we all did.

Jesus is superior to Muhammad. There is both historical and archaeological evidence about Jesus whereas Muhammad is just a hearsay prophets who after discussions with the people he met on his travels in Khadija's caravans recited a hatch potch of what he had learnt during his travel creating abook that has a mix of all the middle eastern religions. The basics he used is a form of Ebonite Christianity that was rejected at Nicae but was professed by his hanafi wife Khadija and her cousin who was an old and senile Monk called Waraqa. No revelations from Allah except that he has used some concepts of the pagan religion he was born into.
