Assalamalaykum I feel as though i share a special connection with my brother Shaikh Assad. I pray that you and your family with huge levels of patience since the loss of your son and brother. Innahlillaahaywainnahlillahhayrajeoon Innahlillaahaywainnahlillahhayrajeoon My 12 year old son passed away in 2015, very suddenly. I also tried to resuscitate him but the Angel of death took him. My younger son was present at the time. He now has long term and significant Mental Health diagnosis due to the trauma of witnessing his brother passing away. Life is pretty difficult, most days. My faith is definitely much stronger since and as a consequence i have a combination of sweet and pain in my heart and head. The levels of sabar that Allah most merciful has given me is beyond words. Any words of comfort from you, my brother Billal will be appreciated. All the very best InshAllah to you and your whole family.

Allah tests those who he loves the most, keep firm and put your trust in Allah and surely the reward of the believers are not lost, you will be with your son again in Jannatul firdous in sha Allah. I too, really love sheikh Belal for the sake of Allah, May Allah preserve him. I lost my dear beloved sisters one year ago very unexpected, she was 27. Since then, I have been enduring constant pain, all we can do is rely on Allah for he truly knows what is best for us. Sheikh Belal’s lectures have helped me tremendously. May Allah give our loved ones Jannatul firdous Al’ala and reunite us with them, ameen

An-Nisa' 4:119 وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ وَلَءَامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ ءَاذَانَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ وَلَءَامُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَن يَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ وَلِيًّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ خَسِرَ خُسْرَانًا مُّبِينًا Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss.
