Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, eldest son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, died aged 33 on Saturday September 19, 2015, of a heart attack. He was buried the same day in Bur Dubai's Umm Hurair cemetery, following funeral prayers at Zabeel Mosque at maghrib.
At the time, the Crown Prince of Dubai said “Today, I lost a best friend and a childhood companion, my dear brother Rashid. You will be missed.”
