As an outsider here is my view. She might have done wrong with students and other stuff and secure the pollical strength, as looking week or in opposition is not an option in Bangladesh. But what she gave in return is political stability and development which helped nation and people invest in certain sectors, people got certain level of education and went abroad which is a major source of income for Bangladesh in form of remittance. If the country is a political unrest and no security to investments people won't be sending that money back, which turns into the nation economy which overall helped Bangladesh to become financially much better position, compared to where it started in 70s. You might or might not accept her, and you went ahead and got an intern government good for you. Same time it's your people responsibility that the new people won't become radical and turn nation into political instability. Geographically you are located between two major nations, which unfortunately we can't change, Only way would be finding a balanced way to become prosperous by cooperation, industrialization, economic prosperity with both nations not by leaning one way. If that balance is lost your nation might become bankrupt like Pakistan and they are happy to help morally and politically with their experience and expertise so that your nation can become bankrupt😊

It is long past time for Bangladesh to rid itself of the dynastic rule of both Awami League and BNP, both Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia having ruled as if they have unfettered right to rule, even as each woman expects her son to continue the dynasty likewise as if they have a birth entitlement to rule. The student protests removed Hasina from power because of her increasingly autocratic rule, her movement in the direction of her father’s predilection for a single political party betraying the democracy that was promised by the Constitution. It is time for a new political direction without yielding and installing either of the two parties again. Likewise, it will not do to yield to Jamaat or Jatiya and install a proto-Islamic government that would gradually move Bangladesh away from its secular basis of government. Time will tell whether the students can win a true democracy against the corruptions of all these old parties.
