Sheikham Pind De Sikh Muslim Jatt || Punjab 1947

Sheikham is a village in tehsil Pattoki District Kasur. It was a part of District Lahore, Tehsil Chunian, before the emergence of Kasur as a District on 1 July 1976. The village is situated on Pattoki-Hallah Manesan road, about 4 KM away from Pattoki bypass.
"Sheikham Pind De Sikh Muslim Jatt" is a story covering the old history of the village.

I appreciate dear khayam chuhan efforts to unite families seperated during partition by virtually or verbal communication a great efforts. As told by our elders migrated from Rawalpindi & Shekhuprua now pakistan ( west punjab) .The process of migration both sides could be completed peacefully & smoothly. But first Sikhs & Hindus were attacked by Muslims in Lahore & Kolkata this is true facts, As Sikhs & hindhu were oweners of big properties, Muslims were poor as told to us by elders so they were having eyes to grab their properties.The root cause of roots.Very few came forward to protect Sikhs & hindu in comparative to Muslims protect in charda punjab(East Punjab). There are many stories in Sikh religion that Muslims can,t be believed. However I again agree that there are good & bad elements in every religion.But Sikhs are generous by grace of our guru.They are hard working, after partition they started from zero and huge properties & business in East Punjab & whole India.Chuhan ji I am sorry if I have hurt any muslim brotherhood.My Grand parents displaced from Mehamatpur vill. Distt Shekhuprua from Pakistan was owning 75 acres of land there but here get 30 acres in Begowal district Kapurthala but we progressed very fast here in Charda punjab and having all facilities and modern amenities in Cities like Jalandhar, Chandigarh & Delhi.My uncle & my younger brother visited pakistan our ancestors home few years back but sad to see no development & better life conditions there.we Punjabis ( specially Sikhs) will Happy to see our brothers progressed in Pakistan. Sorry to say but 80% of west punjab was muslim majority only few were sikh and hindus. So not all hindus and sikhs were rich in west punjab majority muslims were rich as compare to sikh not majority of muslims were poor as u described specifically in muslims majority west punjab. Second our grand parents also told same about sikh and hindus that how both of them brutally killed many muslims in east punjab bcoz both sikh and hindus r against partition and start murdering muslims(east punjabis) who want to migrate newly formed pakistan(west punjab) then in response muslims of west punjab force hindus and Sikhs of west punjab to move out from west punjab but many hindus and sikh of west punjab(pakistan) dont want to leave their land

You are wrong. Majority of West Punjab was Muslim and plenty of Muslim landowners. Hindus were never landowners. They were shopkeepers and business people. But yes: in East Punjab, most of the land was owned by Muslim landowners and many Sikhs were converted poor Hindus.
