Please hear me out and understand where I'm coming from. As a grown ass man I am sick and damn tired of hearing women and black men say that grown ass men are intimidated by women. We have never ever been intimidated by women. Substitute the word intimidated or intimidation with the words, "I no longer want to be bothered with you". I'm a black man in his fifties and I have lived a lifetime of hearing this type of garbage. From Waiting to Exhale, Oprah Winfrey Show, color purple, and belittling the accomplishments of manhood. You want a man with as much or more than you. Most men excuse me most "people" aren't rich. 3. Dream man syndrome. The man you want has to not only be rich but gorgeous fit smart funny etc. To infinity. Why would that man choose one woman when *every* woman wants him? Normal black men deserve an FBI too. I was kinda with her...all the way up to the intimidation part. We, as men, hear FAR TOO much of that. True men are NOT intimidated by a successful black woman. What so many of us are fed up with is so many women thinking they can stand toe-to-toe with us. Far too many cannot separate life from art. Far too many actually think they are supposed to act like the "Real Housewives" crew. Couple that with the barrage of music that scream "men ain't shit" and the "Think Like a Man's", and men simply don't want to put up with that. Time is the most precious commodity in the world. Women think that Men who refuse to subject themselves to their obnoxious behavior are "intimidated" by their "strength". When in reality it's the exact opposite. Women have free license to behave aggressively with Men with no threat of violence or of things escalating to physical repercussions. More often than not a man will remove himself from that dynamic to protect himself or just take the step of avoiding those types of women all together. As Men we have no legal protections if we lose our cool with a woman and respond to her the same way we would with another Man acting that way. Women mistake our self preservation as being "intimidated". Naw, you're just obnoxious and we don't wanna deal with you.
@busyrand2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. No man is, and has ever been intimidated by a woman. The man has an assessment of where he would need to be in life to acquire and maintain a woman, and he may opt out because of that the same way you turn down private jet if someone tossed you the keys [the maintenance, fuel, storage, crew costs will bury you]. But yeah, conflating that into intimidation is something women say to make themselves feel better.

Before I get started, I would like to say that I love black women. To a lot of men, black women do not have feminine qualities. Today's men like to be served. To be honest, men throughout history liked to be served. I have talked to Asians women and I have talked to Colombians women. The difference is they are submissive, and they know how to serve a man. Unfortunately for the sisters, the modern day man has adapted and he now seeks those qualities from women in other countries. Life has always been about survival of the fittest. The real problem is that many North American women feel to be a "strong" woman means they need to be adversarial and not be a partner. Sadly, this is not a "black woman" thing, but a North American woman. It is as though they feel to be strong, they need to be the alpha in the relationship instead of the partner. They want this, but still expect the man to be "the male" in the relationship. If you look at feminism in the US, it is not a sentiment that is shared around the world to the extent it exists in North America. They want equality, but still have the expectations that existed in the old format. For example, a woman wants to make the money, be the equal, and yada yada, all the while expecting the man to hold the door for them, and bringing them flowers and bullshidddd. My girl here is a gem, she knows that I am going to go Thailand (for work) and will have a thai woman when I am there (no sex unfortunately) that wants to take care of me and my needs. Do my laundry, cook, clean and stuff like that, and my role will be take care of the cost to go out, and yada yada. (I do not pay them for this, and will not be handing money over just to hand over money). North American women seem to have this "how much do you make", "what kinda car", or "I want a bottle" kinda attitude and expect that shit from us if not, "we triffling". One day, North American women are gonna get it.
@skyhawk23112 жыл бұрын
ON POINT. But on that last sentence, I don’t think they well. The sisterhood, “black girl magic” is far too strong of a force for them to actually admit they own a huge piece of the divide. It’s “just-the-thing-to-do” and what they do...as the norm to simply blame us.
@brothaman0072 жыл бұрын
@@skyhawk2311 In a weird way, Richie Mac might be the catalyst to get the ball rolling in the right direction again. Women aint reading the comments and be like, "man, no one wants to listen to Reggie and his nonsense". They have to be reading this and then doing some soul searching. Prime example, look at Melli Monaco. The comment section in her channel and her video reaction to Richie Mac, you can see women get what Melli is saying, and what Richie is selling. Having been to Thailand twice myself and going back again in April, I explained to my GF, "you can act the way these women do here, and that is fine, but I am not gonna be around for any foolishness. It is a huge world, and it does not revolve around you". She got the hint, and we are on year three. No fights, no arguments. You can’t applaud yourself for being a dope women in the work field - talkative, go getter, successful. But then be the opposite in the dating market. You said it yourself, you’re lazy when it comes to dating and relationships. So if you don’t have what you want, the blame is on you! Not the men doing what they wanna do (by going to Thailand), you have to get in their face and make your presence known to not get “overlooked”. Men aren’t prioritizing lazy and shy women. They are prioritizing women who outwardly show they have what they want and need. Why would a man (and especially a man of value) go looking for a woman who doesn’t want to talk much one on one and lives in her work success (that is NOT intimidating - it’s just not cared for) when women in Thailand are saying here I am. I have why you want??? So BW want BM to become a dope man in life, then put in overtime to be with them? I think not, men (BM) are going with the easier decision. But after a lot of rejection and ridicule from Black women, they found that they don't get treated that way by Asian, Hispanic and White women. It's going where you're celebrated, not where you're tolerated. Not all Black women are like what "reality" TV shows them to be. But the sisters I hear saying this are usually the same ones brothers wanted and got shot down by. And sadly, some only realize a good brother after she gave the best she had to others due to their looks and money. She kept talking over their points despite her being the only single one in the conversation. That's exactly what we're talking about. I've had similar conversations with some of our women over 30 that were still single and I've encountered similar patterns: zero accountability - minimal introspection that comes too late in life - lacking effort - inflated expectations - entitled I'm sorry it took this long for her to start investigating. Society seems to be pushing our women to not see the value in being conscientious, gentle, nurturing, agreeable, caring, etc. Men want that and even better when you're more youthful and fit. Don't wait til you're older to start figuring this out. It's a shame. I wish her well.

You hit the nail on the head. Older women general want to try and change their tune when they are going home alone but its too late now. Each year after 40 I have been making more money and becoming more successful. Why should I get a older woman in her decline. It makes no sense. The other guy been married for life that is a different thing because she was there from jump.

The problem lies in the fact that the minute you disagree or disapprove of something as a man women today feel the need to disrespect you. This has been going on for years and the Men on top of the game look in other places. The guys that are left are not looked at or just want hit and split. They use their employment or degrees as a status and no man care about that.

This is why you must deal with the bad apples in your group or community. Whether you like it or not people will generalize a group if enough people from that group mess up (Race,gender or nation).

She seems like a nice woman, but she’s up in age and that weave/wig ain’t it. Men aren’t really looking for a twice divorced, 60 year old woman to settle down with. She had two husbands! The question should have been, what happened to them?

I'm young man at 23 years old still in college in through my every day life. I've been given my sense of respect of my everyday life other than my family and close friend's. Non black women often treated me as a man if one did like me they actually show me the signs was very feminine towards me more than anything bjg when it came to black women Im often treated as a friendly guy non date able guy and when I'm actually trying approach feels like I have do to the extreme just to get a connection...what I'm trynna say is that lotta men go for the best option for a real feminine women.

I thank you for this topic, Sheila the shyness is a part of the wall some women of color put up, because they feel very skeptical about letting someone in. I believe that there is no other woman better for me than a woman of color, but let us put in just a little faith and move where our spirit leads us. I have been looking and still have hope that it will happen. Let yourself be loved and be willing to give it in abundance.

The problem with her is she's not a good listener, she doesn't let people finish their points without interrupting which is a turn off. Another problem is she thinks men are intimidated by her which is another turn off and not true at all, nobody is intimidated they just dont choose to acknowledge her in that way, probably due to never being able to say more than 3 words without gettin interrupted. Another problem is this video started wit her saying she has a issue wit seeing black men wit women of other races and this video ends wit her sayin she "don't have an issue wit it at all and wants to start a date service" Which basically means SHE DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE WANT OR TALKING ABOUT which is a HUGE TURN OFF! The worst problem I saw in this video was you brothers did everything you could to enable her thinkin the way she does instead of challenging her on how she thinks. Y'all just gave her props and agreed the men are intimidated by her which is not true at all. She's gonna die single and lonely because nobody including her will ever address the real issues.

I noticed that too bro. She's in her 50's talking about dating lol! Sounds like her options are exhausted now that the men she turned away put those passports in the sky for greener pastures. Oh well lol! They will never get it, and quite frankly I could care less haha!
