Also if you wanted it for work or casual wear I would cover the top with a top or jumper or blouse and then the gorgeous skirt would show below. Anyways I loved this video. @@AyeshaHak I can't believe how many people have said the green dress looked so good on you. I also have commented the same. But I just thought I would say that dressing styles are a very personal choice. I associate colours, materials and prints with varied feelings and opinions. A lot of it is what we experience and see as we grow as people. Ps I view lace that is stretchy, thin and becomes bobbly quickly as cheap. I do like a thicker, non stretchy, good quality lace for special occasions. Keep these type of vlogs coming. They're brill.

The issue you had with most of the dresses see to be the cut! Like they didnt go in enough on the waist so it made the hips look flat. Theyre all gorgeous and look great on you!! I would reccomend taking them in on the sides and if you cant taking them to a tailor!! I especially loved the yellow one

I am researching Islam. The one thing that is scary to me is the clothes. That lose clothing looks nice on thin ladies but I am fat. I would look like a bloated elephant and my face so fat in a Hijab. If I dress modestly and a Hijab everyone will think I lost my mind and just want to be a Muslim to have friends and for a man. Is dressing like this really hot? I am always very warm now. I finally am losing weight. I have been overweight for over twenty years, now I am going cover all my work off. Its rather funny but a bit sad too. What do you do with slits in skirts? I was thing adding a flowly panel. Can you add fancy brouch to a Hijab. I am so OCD with my clothes. So you are not alone in needing everything straight. Thanks for modeling Muslim attire. I like the green lace dress.

Evetualy you will got there, it takes time till you get used and find your look and style just try differents ones, I am not the from the skinniest ones as well but still find something that fits me. Less worry what people will say and dont think about negative, and you will be happy. I am a convert as well 9 years now.

As you are such an influence can i please ask that you look into the ethics behind cheap fast fashion brands like Shein and others that have such an impact on the world we live in. It's such a sad state and a vicious cycle if we encourage to buy buy buy at the cheapest price always. when we buy quality and beautifully made things we cherish them, and love them for longer (They also last). I’ll be honest- no excuses but I don’t have the time to look into this which I’m very guilty of and appreciate the importance of it. My only quick conclusion is that more expensive items tend to be more in tune ethically- is that a correct assumption? If you have any recommendations do let me know ❤️

@@AyeshaHak Wa alaikum assalam. Thanks for the super fast response! I am more than happy to make recommendations for you as thats sort of what I do (and aim to do better in future). I know Haul videos get a lot of people watching (I'm clearly guilty of it- i don't know what it is. must be vicarious shopping) but I suggest 'investment buying'. That means buying garments that will be used repeatedly should be good quality materials, constructed well and be something you 'LOVE'. If one of these points aren't met I wouldn't buy as it'll either fall out of favour with you or wont last. Eg. Coats, staple shoes, essential closet staples and classic items that are never out of fashion (Shirt dress, black dress, white dress etc) This works out to be more ethical since you are not partaking in throw away fashion continuously. Ethical fashion can be hard to follow, especially as we already have so many requirements but knowing about the effects is a must. An easy way to learn is by watching the BBC show by Stacey Dooley on Fast Fashion, its worth a watch! And most people think expensive means ethical, that is definitely NOT the case. But cheap fast fashion is almost NEVER ethical, so thats one to mull over. I'll send recommendations through dresscodeldn on IG, please let me know next time you want to do some shopping and i'll happily do a list for you especially, you make for a a lovely muse! tc, xx
