JD JoyrideTV it all depends on the set up, but my friend drives a 2012 5.0 and he has straight pipes with bolt ons, to me it sounds raspy when he gets on it, I can easily tell it's a 5.0 going down the street, they have a distinctive sound.

What clutch are you running to handle that power but also seem so smooth taking off from stops?...i was gonna a a McLeod rxt twin disc but ppl say they are hard to street drive

stag That's the Clutch I have is the McLeod rxt and it's actually really smooth. I was expecting a really stiff clutch when it was installed. but drives/feels like stock and it's not stiff at all like I was expecting because I had performance clutches in other cars that would give your leg a workout...very easy to drive and soft.

JD JoyrideTV My Black/ with red striped GT500 had the VMP TSV supercharger with the 3.25" pulley. Comp cams custom cams, Dynotech long tube headers and off road H-pipe. and a tune. Boost was around 18-19 pounds. Made 796 hp and 683 lb. ft. torque at the wheels. The cams really gave it a nice choppy idle.
