Thanks for great video. I have cancer and taking chemotherpy and cannot attend this or any other public event. You have done an excellent job. Shelby is the grand daddy of them all to me. Don't ever forget you have an inpact way beyond youtube. I wish I could attend. You made it possible.

Good to meet you! I bought a wire strip tool last year and didn't see him this year. My daughter wanted one so I gave her the info. Great video and already looking forward to next year. 73 Wayne W4CEE

I was there Friday and Saturday. I rode with some lightweights on Saturday instead of driving myself there. That was a mistake. They found what they wanted and were ready to leave and I wanted to check the place out some more. Won't happen again. That's why I don't ride places in other people's vehicles. Great turnout on Saturday, plenty of people on Friday as well. Thank you for the video. KQ4UHS 73

I scored a daystrom nichimen 12au7 at a garage sale in a box years ago. Finally got around to getting it tested and listened to. Amazing. Whole box was maybe $20...

Thanks for the show tour. I was there on Friday from 1PM to 3:30PM. I had my pop-up awning sun shirt and hat. But heat kept people from circulating out in the field. Total of $8 sales! Heat got dangerous for me and I packed up. Hope to see folks at the Asheville Radio Museum annual flea market on Sept. 14th.

Mark, hopefully you're drinking lots of water, and maybe something with some electrlytes in it. Heat exhaustion, is no joke, and can easily lead to heat stroke.

I had a Thorens TD125 but with a different tonearm. Traded it for a Sota Sapphire at Audio Advice, Raleigh, in 1980s. Thanks for the video. Callsign?

First time attending Shelby, and frankly, I was not impressed. I guess maybe I didn't do enough digging, but I was really turned off by how much non amateur radio junk there was, such as crafts, obsolete computers, air mattresses, musical instruments, and the worst, CB radios. CB Radios everywhere. There was even one seller that was selling Confederate flags. One seller had a CB base station decorated like a confederate flag. So many of the boat anchors I saw looks like they'd washed up at low tide and sellers were asking pie in the sky prices for them. Very disappointing.

We stopped going years ago. It used to be fun but after it moved back to Shelby from Dallas (NC) it became a ghost of it's former self.

I love browsing for parts. It helps if you have actual (future?) project lists, but general shopping is also great. N1KHB
