are there any command differnece or extra in unix shell script. bcoz in my college syllabus under MAKAUT 1. Shell programming [6P]: creating a script, making a script executable, shell syntax (variables, conditions, control structures, functions, commands). 2. Process [6P]: starting new process, replacing a process image, duplicating a process image, waiting for a process, zombie process. 3. Signal [9P]: signal handling, sending signals, signal interface, signal sets. 4. Semaphore [6P]: programming with semaphores (use functions semctl, semget, semop, set_semvalue, del_semvalue, semaphore_p, semaphore_v). 5. POSIX Threads [9P]: programming with pthread functions(viz. pthread_create, pthread_join, pthread_exit, pthread_attr_init, pthread_cancel) 6. Inter-process communication [9P]: pipes(use functions pipe, popen, pclose), named pipes(FIFOs, accessing FIFO) will i get all of this 6 items in ur tutorial?

Unix and Linux are similar so it will not create problems. As well as don't study anything just for a job, learn only if you are interested in it.

Response to accent comments. Yes an Indian accent can be a bit hard... but as long as I don't hear the word "ugh", "uhhh", etc it is much better to listen to. A well practiced and well pronounced accent is appreciated, but I don't think this tutorial is unbearable at all.
@jyotirajsingh52166 жыл бұрын
Can you speak Hindi without ugh uhhh, even after taking best training in the world. I guess you can't because it's not your native language. Same applies for Indians as they have Hindi as their mother tongue language. By the way there are lot of Indians out there who are technically sound in terms of accent and grammar.

@@jyotirajsingh5216 Why the fuck would I? Hindi is not an official language in my country. And I can speak English without ugh and uhhhh, especially if i'm sound in the topic I'm talking on

yes one can , if the executable/main of your Text Editor is on the path variables list if not one has to specify absolute path , but opening and closing gui programs can also be done from Terminal Directly rather then typing them in a script , else for automation one can use it
