That was a beautiful song. Shelley Fabares looked and sounded 'angelic' herself. As her 'mother', Donna Reed's expressions, towards her 'daughter', were priceless.

I remember being in my living room with mom, dad, and my four brothers! I believe the year was 1961. I was in fifth grade and Kennedy was President! Those were such happy times! We always gathered in the living room to watch all the television shows coming on that evening! Sadly my brothers are all gone, the four of them died tragically. All in October also. Then this past November I lost my youngest son suddenly. Oh life! Thank you so much, kind sir, for this priceless memory!🙏🏻💔

I do, too. In ‘61 I would have been in 3rd grade. I remember my parents, 6 (at that time) siblings, and myself gathered around our 15” b&w TV to watch The Donna Reed Show, as usual. This scene, however, is was one I would never forget. I saw that Mary (Shelly Fabares) could sing, and sing well. And saw for the first time, what effort went into producing a “good song”. A bonus when it was released in ‘62: And became a “hit song” - reaching #1. And another bonus today: Watching this amazing video, which looks and sounds far better than I ever could have imagined when huddled around that small b&w set in ‘61.

💕💌💞❤️💯🤗💘💘💘💌💕💞💌💞💕💕☁️☁️☁️😊

Goodness gracious! Wish every other fellow handling colorization could take a leaf out of this guy's wonderful technique in bringing to life this episode featuring Shelley Fabares using AI 8K colorized enhanced method. It's SUPERB! This episode also featured Donna Reed and the handsome James Stacey [he was in the Disney film Summer Magic with Hayley Mills]. James Stacey was once married to superstar, Connie Stevens. But, the marriage foundered as his career was always on the peripheral, never reaching center-stage. Yes, we all do love and remember sweet Shelley Fabares who was Elvis' co-star in Girl Happy and Spinout. Sadly, Elvis' other leading ladies Diane McBain and Deborah Walley passed away. Once again congratulations for a really marvelous colorization job!!!

😊 Philippe, it's beautiful, beautiful, beautiful as the sky, it's just magic, so much magic, so much... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 But. But, I have only one question, only one - WHERE IS THE CAKE? 🤨 Yes, where's the cake? Where is the cake that is featured on the cover of this video? You literally "bought" me with this cake!... With a smile of bliss, I listened to Shelly and waited, waited... at the first viewing, the cake did not appear and I thought that I was not attentive enough and watched the video several more times with increasing and increasing attention... but... no, the cake never appeared... Okay, okay, I understand... 😁 Sorry! 🦖 (You know, Philippe, in fact, I write comments on each of your videos, only I write them in invisible ink, in the hope that they will someday manifest, and... oh, no, no, no! - not all at once, but gradually, sooo gradually, and... most likely, this will happen when none of the human beings will be on this planet and the whole "digital life" (or what is it properly called?) will live its own life - it will sort and archive our letters, comments, photos, countless photos, videos and so on, so on... But, probably, I idealize too much the activities related to the preservation of the remnants of people's vital activity, and everything will be much simpler, more prosaic and tougher. I wonder how far away from us is this point "Without people"? Will it be a gradual process or will everything happen quickly enough?) Well, while we're still here - I hasten to thank you and your electronic friend for your wonderful work! 🌟 Inspiration and wonderful warm days to you and your family, Philippe, in beautiful France and everywhere, wherever you are! 🌿

On the black and white version, you can't really see 👀 anything... On the colorized version🌈, like a Sherlock Holmes🔎, we quickly notice that one of the backing singers🎙️, as well as Donna Reed, both have particularly red lips...👄 There's no doubt about it! 🤔😏 During Shelley's shooting and rehearsals, they were backstage, devouring the delicacy...😋🍰🍰🍰 It's the only logical explanation 🤓, and future generations and robots🤖 will see tomorrow that this insignificant detail testifies to the fact that even back then, you "ladies" were very gourmand🍓🍓🍓! 🤭😂😂😂

@@thefiyoumovies Thank you so much for the answer, Philippe! Take a video in 576x432 pixels colorize it, try to improve the quality of it, like mine, improve the faces, increase this video up to 7680x4360 but not just an Upscaling like you do, "no", a complete improvement of the missing pixels... and you'll tell me how long it took you...
