You got quite a bit of popcorn . That sucks to spend that type of money on junk lids . We got lucky and bought a bunch of lids on sale before all this happened . Thanks for sharing !

You lucked out, for sure. These lids are sketchy. I can't remember if I mentioned it in the video or not, but the ziploc bags they come in look like they already been used for something else. Who knows. Thanks for watching!

Yup that happened to us to the website was called ball official and then we ended up getting that crap because we’ve done offbrand lids before and we’ve ruined a lot of stuff so we only use Ball we never were able to get a hold of the people and send them back we were originally trying to cancel the order and they said they would cancel it and now nothing and we ordered quite a few lids

I've been using them as lids on our ferments and dehydrated foods, but I don't trust them on anything that would need processed.

Oh no! I've had the internet and "department store" canning lid experience. Ruins a lot of good food. Sorry for the luck on that, but the corn shelling is relaxing!

Thanks. There's no obvious way to return the lids, either. Just a shipping address for a warehouse in Inglewood, CA. Oh well. Live and learn. I agree that the shelling is relaxing!

I would be guessing if they are cheap Chinese materials i would default to the contaminated materials side of things. Nice popcorn, i would like to try some of that next year, thanks for the inspiration.
