Dear Shelly I wrote you not long ago about the ongoing problem I had been having with my Bernina 830 with threading in bobbin area. It has never worked out since I’ve had the machine, and I tried everything, believe me! Got so so mad last Friday (6/9/23), I called and ordered the machine of my dreams! Never thought I’d be able to do this, but life is just too short. I should get it in a week or so. I am getting a Pfaff Creative Icon. If I die the week after, I will have had a weeks worth of fun. The dealer said he had several 830’s and that had been the main complaint. I was not having fun and all I want to do is to be able to sit and sew, so I solved my problem. I am so excited I can hardly wait. I’ll let you know what happens. Thank you so much for your help. Florence

I do not have one yet. I believe the stitching area will be 8.5 square but until stand to be corrected when I get my hands on one!

How do you program the tie knot at beginning of sewing and at the end of sewing and then cut thread. Is there a way?

Yes. In the set-u[ menu. I have a vidoe coming out either this week or next that shows this. The set-up menu is the Gears icon. Then go into Sewing settings.
