Thank God that he caused me to open the song 'You are always good'! Your book was introduced by you Miss Shelly was so encouragement to me today. Thank you for sharing about your son's story even if it is very tough topic to help others. I am living with the chronic pain which It started in orphanage when I was just 7 years old because I was beaten by one of older boys for something that I did not do and broke by spine. And did not get any treatment untill 5 years passed by. Since then I went through 7 corrective surgeries for my deformed spine but still living in pain. Of course through those years God was always helped me through. Many days I'm getting discouraged but always God reminds me of his unchanging love and mercy and grace. I love the song and love to start the day with listening this song to remind myself how good my heavenly father is to me. Yes, he is always good!

Sister Hamilton, Jonathan and some young men from the Wilds came to the church I was pastoring in 2003. At my request, Jonathan agreed to give his testimony and about your family's ministry. He was so very humble and gracious, and his God-directed presence encouraged me amid the trials of pastoring. I will always thank the Lord for that visit from a very giving servant of Jesus Christ. Please know that your son helped others with problems even while his own were great. I pray for you, Brother Ron, and all of your family. Your lives have been a blessing.

I just finished your book. My children grew up listening to Patch the Pirate. What a ministry you have had. I had no idea of the pain and heartache you and your husband have endured. Jonathan sounded like a very special young man. His story touched me in many way. Mental illness runs through my family and I understand the reality of it. Your faith and strength is a blessing. I believe, as Patch the Pirate reached far and wide to minister, Jonathan’s story is going to bless and help countless people. Thank you for your bravery to share your heart. Shelly you have no idea what God is using you for in so many lives! Many people are given wrong diagnosis and suffer even with the best of support from family and friends!! I can’t imagine your pain nor pretend to know how to handle it!? I already decided l want YOUR signature in my BIBLE!!! I just want to hug you and tell you l loved at a distance before the book.
