I was that sheltered kid when I was 14 years old and the family I babysat for paid for me to fly to Vegas with them for a wedding so I could watch the kids in the hotel room. O my goodness, the innocence I lost that day just by having 👁👁s.

Oh my goodness so funny! I was just in Vegas but I am completely blind. Would have loved to have ran into you, seriously, that could’ve happened ha ha but I wouldn’t have seen you! I’m laughing at myself! It’s okay, you can laugh with me blind jokes are my favorite 😂. So many fun things I miss out on seeing there or not seeing there LOL, but definitely still found a way to have so much fun through all my other senses! I can totally relate to so many things with your sheltered character, that’s why I love these vids so much! However I’m not a sheltered kid anymore haha thank God! Story time! The month before our son reported for his LDS mission, we took him to the Boise State game in Vegas for Christmas. He's a huge Boise State fan. It had been a while since either of us had been in Vegas so we obviously didn't think through taking a young man... about to serve a mission for God... to Sin City. As we walked down the Strip to see the Bellagio fountains, the poor kid didn't know where to put his eyes and my husband was struggling as well. We knew enough, at least, to tell him not to take the little cards being handed out by people on the street corners. The next morning, as we walked through the casino at 8:30 a.m. to go find breakfast, there were people already (still?) at the slots. My son said, "What is wrong with these people?" Let's just say we came for the football game, didn't spend a lot of other time outside and left for Disneyland shortly after.

What's funny is i'm not so disgusted by the "slappers" (folks passing out the cards) as they are usually just people desperate for money ineligible to work elsewhere and are not affiliated with the SWs on those cards, but who I AM truly disgusted by are the people who take the cards only to throw them on the freaking ground 2 seconds later!!! The sidewalks are absolutely PLASTERED with these cards! 😤 Like come ON guys! Either don't take them or find a nearby trashcan if you did take them but don't want it anymore! Ugh!!
