I was late to the Doki Doki Literature Club party. I'm late to the mashups-and-remixes-involving-Shelter party. But heck, here I am with my very first mashup.
Originally, I was going to mash up YR with the original electronic version of Shelter, but found that the piano version fit much better thematically. It's been mixed and mastered to the best of my abilities (and equipment) (at the time). February 2018 marks my second month as a music producer. Please go easy on me, haha!

Yeah it is, thank you so much! I started using Ableton less than a year ago as a band keyboardist but last December I got into music production and film scoring because, hey, what a waste if all I did was live stuff! Madeon, Porter, and Nigel Good are my biggest inspirations alongside movie scores.

I can agree. Something like losing your dad in an unknown apocalypse is pretty strange. Does the dad know something we all don't? Well, not as bad as "killing" nonexistent characters, but you get the picture?

Monika comes from a reality born for the sake of loving someone else but she ends up destroying it. Rin comes from a reality where she was loved but at the cost of a destroyed home, and the loss of a father. Now both of them are somewhere out in space... altering the fundamentals of the reality they now live in... Staring at what represents the thing they love... As Monika stares at your representative character. And as Rin stares at her gadget, waiting for a message. Both now forever left alone in the emptiness of space.

This is the best version of the mashup. The first mashup version pretty much just threw in both songs together, but with the songs changing vocals, so it sounds really bad. So glad you worked on it! Definitely gonna sub man! This sounds amazing!!
