This is conceptually very interesting, and the execution was very good too. Specially considering how demanding what she proposed herself to do is. In this youtube channel it is a common thing to find dancers with very very hard intentions when they choose to put out a presentation. Here it was a particularlly demanding case, and it didn't backfire as much, as far as I can tell. The methaphor of hard intentions soft performance is interesting because here her movements have much energy compared to the absolute majority of female dancers I've watched in what they proposed themselves to do. The only exception are dancers who I was absolutelly sure were not only professionals, but very very influential in the dance world to say the least. At the beginning the song was very metal like, and I missed more energy in her movements, the fluid like movements in the other parts of the song became explicitly more relevant, but the need for fluidity or concentrated energy is not uniform in the song. I really loved the viatnamese hat. I say vietnamise because of the vietnam war, but I'm not sure if it is a misreading. I really need to start researching clothes and stuff. Anyways, she did help me hear the song, and the performance was enjoyable and I learned something yet again, so I'm nonethelless thankful again.
