During weddings in the 80s in my village in Bihar they used to rent loudspeakers to entertainment the baratis. The first record would be qawwalis of Sabri brothers then followed by latest Bollywood songs. They used play the record through out the day and much of the night. Oh those days of innocence.

Listening in 2024 in memory of my dear father 😔😔who is no more and I didn't get to meet him in his last days which I regret everyday! Friends take full blessings of parents as long as they are alive, later when others enter the family they conspire , for some not everyone, especially daughters stay close and meet them often!
