@@simrankaur1739 Definitely go over this video a few times, do the practice casper questions, and try your best to display empathy first and foremost. In the video he talked about talking to the cheating friend in private. Little things like that go along way. Expressing you would want person X to feel comfortable. Expressing how you would listen to another person's point of view while refraining from judgement. I even went over some of the practice questions with my friends and critiqued their responses to then add/enhance mine. If you can figure out what not to do, it helps. The Casper only marks on what you did answer and not on what you couldn’t. If you can’t answer all 3 questions but you answered 1-2 of the questions fully. They score you on the 2 with a chance of still scoring full marks. Remember, the Casper wants you to answer the question fully with insight rather than see how fast you can type. Hope this helps!!

I think it's possible, so long as you have that framework of what you're going to say in mind. The general concept of empathy, compassion, no assumptions, inquiring about different perspectives, etc. can be discussed immediately and prepared beforehand with some editing to fit the specific scenario. If you can type more than 50-60 words per minute, then you're ok. I'm typing around 110-120 wpm and can fit in half a word doc of 11pt font, single spaced, in under five minutes.

I specifically mentioned discounting previous assignments and replacing them with new ones. Or does CASPer emphasize taking the more punitive measures like reporting all the wrongdoers irrespective of the circumstances.

No matter what you response, it's important to discuss various considerations. Adcoms are looking to learn now just your "decision" but also how you came to it. CHEATING Question 1: I would comfort my school mate after class so I wont disturbed the class when a test is being taken place. I would confront him and tell him to admit to the teacher that he was cheating. If he refuese then I would tell the teacher myself. If he had a problem in his life I would still tell him to talk to the teacher and be honest, while telling him to seek the right help for his problem. Question 2: I would conforte both the charter and the nebiuour after the exam in private and tell them to confess ot their actions to the teacher. If they refused I would tell the teacher myself. If they had a life problem going on I would still thell them to be honest and tell the teacher and seek the correct help form their. Regardless of the outcome I would remind them of the importance of honesty and choosing a correct moral pass. Question 3: I would and tell them that I knew they were cheating. I would tell them to explain their reason for cheating. What ever the cause I have to uphold profesllism and morality and give him a zero or some reputations for cheating. If they give a resonable reason like not having enough time to study, I would support my student and help him study and develop time management protocols

what do you think of using chat gpt to grade your responses? oftentimes it says mine are too unstructured even when my answers are quite similar to these. thanks!!
@Shemmassian7 ай бұрын
Given the nuances of Casper, we would avoid using Chat GPT to grade responses.

I am trying to see how you follow PPRDJ method in these answers but the answers do not seem to follow that outline. This is making it hard for me to know how to answer. It doesn't seem like your following an outline in any of the answers.

thanks for the helpful video. Should we write complete sentences? Can we write short incomplete sentences since it may save my time. I mean phrases without subjects rather than full sentences.I believe raters do not look at grammar or spelling.
@Shemmassian4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nalin! We recommend writing complete sentences so raters can clearly understand your responses. Check out our blog post on this topic for more detailed guidance: www.shemmassianconsulting.com/blog/casper-test

yeah so the Casper test uses AI tech to mark the tests and in order to pass the Casper test their AI tech looks for key words. You need to type in the key words in order to pass the test as you have to outbeat the AI tech to pass. The only way to get access to the AI tech key words is through a Casper workshop where they go over key words...you have to have these words to pass or score high on the Casper test.

Am I the only one that thinks the answer for the first question sounded really pompous and holier-than-thou and as a result not at all compassionate? I think it's the way it's worded. Does anyone else have any thoughts? I'm trying to figure out how to change my answer to be better but that one doesn't sit right with me for some reason
@outtarespecttomyfawtha15892 жыл бұрын
I'm genuinely wondering if that's the answer this test was looking for. That's an insane response. "Threaten cheater/rat cheater out, then get involved with cheater in some advisory/advocacy capacity if they confess their trivial sin that carries a potentially career ending consequence"-----Can you imagine if another student threatened to have your career destroyed before it even began? That is NOT the kind of threat I have any interest in making towards somebody, that in itself could very well be life threatening. It's the schools responsibility to maintain academic integrity, not vigilante students. I'm gonna put my life or wellbeing on the line so this little ethical violation can be prosecuted, that's insane. Without knowing what this test is actually looking for, this information is basically useless.

Can we write bullet points on casper or we need to write the full sentences?
@Shemmassian4 ай бұрын
Yes, Casper raters will accept bullet points. That said, we recommend typing out full sentences, even if you opt to use bullet points.
@Scootuh-kl8cx16 күн бұрын
All these tests-like the MCAT, GRE, and CASPer-are starting to feel like part of a lucrative money-making system. On top of that, it costs over $1,000 just to send out applications, not to mention another $500 or more for test prep. The whole process is incredibly expensive and honestly feels excessive, especially when tests like the CASPer cover components that could easily be assessed in an interview, such as communication skills, ethical decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. It makes you wonder why such an elaborate and costly system is necessary.

This video is informative. However, I don't think their responses are realistic. They typed whole paragraphs for their response examples, and it's not realistic when you only have 5 mins for 3 loaded questions. Also, before someone chews my head off, YES, other Casper videos on YT that provide a more realistic response to scenarios. It is still a helpful video but i would take their response with a grain of salt and figure out ways on how to say more with less words.
