Shen Yun Performing Arts graced the stage in Guadalajara, Mexico, on May 7. Audience members caught a glimpse of traditional Chinese culture and said it felt like magic and divinity to them.
It’s magic. I feel that it’s the way the dancers conduct themselves-it’s something that comes from divinity,” said Fernando Salazar Vicentello, a councilor of the Guadalajara City Council.
Seeing the performance gave him many positive feelings.
“It made me feel a lot of freedom, a lot of peace, a lot of tranquility,” said Mr. Vicentello.
“It’s truly captivating-a deep dive into the essence of tradition. It’s a very interesting dialogue that intertwines contemporary events, revealing a remarkable level of artistic mastery and sensitivity. The music is fascinating and the contemporary touch of multimedia makes it quite a complete performance,” said Francisco Talavera Durón, an anthropologist and professor at ITESO.
