Completely irrelevant to this, I guess, but one thing I’ll never forget since the topic is poor behavior. I was there for an episode of 90210. Very long ago, obviously, so the details I can recall are minute. However, I remember we were filming some sort of holiday dance party in one of the beach cities - Manhattan Beach, maybe? Extras were not complying noise-wise, from what I recall. Nothing major, just talking, whispering-- As a result, takes had to be redone. Insanely frustrating, I know. The shoot was looooong, as it always is when dealing with hundreds of people or just shooting, in general. Nevertheless, Grimes snapped and screamed at everyone to “SHUT UP!” I also remember her yelling about how she didn't want to be there all night. I was not insanely close to her but close enough to hear her voice boom out of nowhere. "Uncomfortable" is the only word I can use. Listen, it seems like 90210 was a pretty stressful environment. All of you were very young. Your frustrations were absolutely warranted. That being said, I’d never seen anyone behave that way on set before. There was a feeling like the "lowly" extras were inconveniencing her life. Perhaps that wasn't the case? Cell phone evidence has shown other actors blow up due to whatever is going on but, more likely, whatever they are going through. I am not going to type this and fail to admit I had similar frustrations. I didn't want to be there that long either, and people were unnecessarily noisy. However, when I think of stressful situations, I appreciate it when people react with more kindness. Just something that came to my mind as I don't know Grimes at all. Even so, this is the one and the only memory I have of her, which is unfortunate. She seems like a lovely person who has grown since then and was just caught being human, I suppose.
