Man alive, Jerry was really creative at this time in his playing. Not that he isn't still awesome, but come on...he just used exclusively his thumb pick and played 2 full measures of single string lead-in notes to his break and made it sound absolutely awesome. I wouldn't have thought of it in a hundred years.
