SHENBAGA Hotel & Convention Center, is one of the four-star luxury hotels in Pondicherry.
Hotel is located in the heart of the city.
It's a kilometer from the blue seas and clean beaches of Pondicherry.
Hotel`s Lobby features a remarkable design.
With beautiful hanging gardens, cozy furnitures, and miniature eagles.
Hotel is part of Shenbaga Business Group.
Other hotels in Pondicherry like Hotel Annamalai International are part of this group.
We stayed in this room during our visit.
Room Category : Deluxe Room
The Room features a decent entrance.
But there was no lighting above the welcome amenities.
There was mini refrigerator without ice tray.
Cupboard was having an iron board along with iron.
Deluxe Room was quite spacious.
Room features a desk, 2 Mirrors, 32 Inch TV and decent lighting.
I have paid Rs.4000/ night for this room including breakfast.
Room has a Queen Size Bed and 4 soft pillows.
Altough the bed looks so soft..
It isn`t. :( The bed was hard without springs which was disappointing.
Room dining is also available on request.
Hotel also has a Bar, Gym and Spa.
Bathroom comes with shower, sink and toilet.
Complimentary toiletries are provided in the bathroom.
This Room dont have a bath tub.
Make sure to book the right room category if you want bath tub.
The Room decor is classic and elegant.
It features marble flooring, wood furnitures and a painting.
The room doesnot have a balcony.
Also it does not have a great view from this room.
Hotel features two glass elevators.
There are 8 floors in this hotel with a swimming pool on the roof.
Roof top pool over 40 feet long and 3 - 6 feet deep.
One can enjoy the 360 degree view of Pondicherry from here.

Did you book it from Agoda? Will they provide rooms for sure if booked through Agoda, and are need linens and towels are clean? Mny bad reviews... Please respond

Hi, Thank you for your comments. Yes. I did book the hotel room from Agoda and my stay here at Shenbaga was very good. Linens and towels that I used were very clean. My only concern here was the bed was too hard to sleep unlike other hotels were the bed would be memory foam with pocket springs. If you are booking this hotel then pls do not expect soft comfy beds.
