Feels like a snowy trail bound to Mt. Fuji during Feudal Japan, which is par for the course, due to the use of Hyōshigi... I'd put it on the same level as the original, and this is one of my favorite tracks from MueTwo, along 'Hanhui's Lesson'.

Everybody always asks 'What is Richard Cartlidge going to remix next?' 'What is Richard Cartlidge is doing right now?' but they never ask HOW is Richard Cartlidge doing? I seem to come back to this specific track, and especially your remix. Another user commented on the original 'this music is excessively dramatic for a soba restaurant' and your remix elevated the base track to a whole new level of.... epicness, truly awe inspiring. Why does a soba restaurant need such a dramatic track? I think about this a lot. Then I realized that you haven't posted in a long while.... so I wanted to ask, how have you been doing Richard? is everything okay? I hope you're doing well. Your remixes are truly awe inspiring and many people have enjoyed your creations, so I wanted to thank you on mine and theirs behalf. Cheers!

I appreciate you asking Danny, I’m doing well thank you :) Yeah it has been a long while since I uploaded anything. Quite a few things happening over the past year but I’m hoping I can get back to uploading more regularly very soon! That‘s very kind of you to say man. I uploaded an extended version of Ohshu Soba because I forgot to pitch bend the strings at the beginning in this version 😅 It’s a small detail but it really does add to the song. I agree though, it’s a very dramatic and unusual piece, set in a pretty random location. You could pass the place multiple times and never know it was even there but I sort of like that about it. Thank you again for your patience and continued support whenever I upload music man. It really does mean a lot to hear people still enjoy listening to my remixes!
