Thomas Denton Because there’s actually canon that says Anderson definitely has multiple children and an estranged wife. So it’s not even accurate lore and was made up on the spot without any research, just like everything else from the ending

In the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, you find a dossier on Captain Anderson, and in one of those files, you find a letter from his wife telling him about the graduation of his son that he missed. She also mentions another son, Henry, and how they're estranged. So this wasn't just novel-only pseudo-canon. This was literally IN-GAME material. So I really do hope they didn't include this part, as heartfelt as it is, due to it clashing with existing canon. Just like the codex saying Executor Pallin was still alive during the Cerberus Coup, ME3 was really sloppy when it came to previous lore.

I love Mass Effect. The mostly part with Shepard. I have completed the entire trilogy fourteen times. I have play many years in multiplayer (lonely wolf). For me, the most epic story ever. I like ME 4 too (i finished story 3 times) but without Shepard is not this same. Shepard is the best

Honestly, after my 5th playthrough of the Mass Effect trilogy, I have to say that ME3 is not a bad game. It's the last conversation with the Catalyst that's not very good (because it's confusing as hell) but the rest? Phenomenal. First off, you get to visit every homeworld of the major galaxy races (Earth, Palaven, Tuchanka, Rannoch, and Thessia). We all wanted that for years. The Reapers always feel absolutely terrifying, like there's no way you could possibly win. And just when you think you might have a chance, it gets ripped out from under you. And we get to learn so much about the Krogan, Salarians and Turians' history and the Geth and Quarians as well. My only real complaint is how much the ME2 squadmates got sidelined (with the exceptions of Thane, Mordin, and Legion)
