For me, the reason that the pearls with the tassel still looks good is that it sort of "finishes" well above the bottom of the bolero. The tassel reads differently. I feel pretty confident that if the full length of the necklace were all pearls and came down to the length of this necklace with the tassels, people might feel differently... and of course, it would bear up Elaine's premise. 😊 These are such solid tips.
