The correct spelling is YHVH. In the book of Ester you will find it locked in acrostics several times.

@@dukeman7595 Depends on which Lexicon you use. There is much controversy and corruption in the Hebrew language. And the letter J in English didn't exist before 1500's. and most Jews will tell you there is no V in Hebrew...... so I don't ever say one way or another, because I wasn't there. I've been over the book of Ester, and not found that proof. I use YHWH according to what I was shown.

About the jewelry, my church told me that it was because when the people were freed by Moses they took all those jewels and melted that and made a calf to worship, that God got mad and said, you can't wear anymore jewelry.

@donnakeizer1468 5 жыл бұрын
Bernadette Duroch that’s all nonsense, you can wear jewelry, only one sin unfirgivabkt and that is Luke 12.10.

Well, why is it NOT written? No where in scripture does it say, " GOD said it was a sin to wear jewelry".

Adultery is the only sin that is pleasurable. God is not surprised when a man and a woman do it. It feels so good. It boils down to how much do you really love him because he did die on a cross for our iniquities. That’s the point. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us. For our sins. I hope that makes sense. Can you imagine dying for other peoples pleasure? They are living and having such intense fun and you are dying! It was a horrible feeling.

5 is grace in biblical numerics. So the point was He was about to die on the cross So she could have committed adultery 5 times or 5 million and it wouldn’t have mattered to him. Because when you are dying for someone you love. The last thing you are worried about is how many “ sins “ they committed. He couldn’t have cared less. He paid an awesome price:) He did it willingly. When it comes to life and death. Adultery means nothing. It is only a commandment to keep us healthy and from getting HIV and other STD’s. It does break up marriages but it is absolutely forgivable. He alone has the power to forgive sins. The question is: what is a “ sinner “ ?

The point Christ was making about adultery and if a man looks on another woman and lusts after her He committed adultery with her in his heart And how if a man marries a divorced woman he is committing adultery. Is it is not that fantasizing about a woman is the same as doing the act. That isn’t it. You have to understand why he was sad. He did cry in the book of Luke. He said you have heard it was said of old time. Old Testament time meaning the Ten Commandments. Thou shalt not commit adultery. The woman at the well knew the Ten Commandments. She was nervous. She was worried. What if when I die that’s it? What if I don’t live forever? What if God is mad with me because I broke his law? It is hard to explain. In other words it didn’t really matter. Christ is like So what! She had sex with a man other than her husband. I am her real husband. And I’m about to be crucified:( You have heard that it hath been said:( of them of old time:( Old Testament time:( Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you………….. And he said many other things. He did so many miracles that John said the whole world could not contain the books that should be written. He got tired of repeating himself.
