I can't recall the first time I heard Geronimo, but it went into my playlist. Then, that phone with my collection of 200 songs died. Sadly, so too went your song. For whatever reason, I rarely like bands beyond the songs I hear off the radio, on repeat. Like a fool, I never even looked up any of your other music. Lately, I realized that I almost completely forgot about Geronimo -- and I mean that I forgot the name of the song and band. I couldn't remember anything but the word WATERFALL. (A song by Mat Kearney was worse; all I could remember was the video. I spent a whole summer obsessed over that.) I frantically searched for your song. Eventually, I did find it. It's strange how *I* can forget things, but know it again the exact moment I see it. Anyway, I finally stopped being stubborn and listened to your music. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to know that the artists behind the unique energy of THAT song actually had the depth of soul to be capable of reproducing such music, and keep it spanning a whole career. I will be going against my own grain and binging your wares.
